“I had very little experience with 3D or cgi” Bro, Bismarck looks like a Hollywood movie at this point, you did such a good job! Edit: also, the water was good, but maybe add some white to it to make it actually look like rushing water IRL.
@ottos_jagd8422 жыл бұрын
Well, tbh it is his first experience on making 3d cgi effects in this video. Tbf the waves look alright for now, but i hope there wiuld be improvements if he wishes to make another Animation of Bismarcks Sistership "Tirpitz".

Yeah the shells striking water effect looked a bit off to me. Like they were just too repetitive and ugly looking. No hate though I love this video and this guys channel

Such a dedication blows my mind. In my opinion, Lego Bismarck is by far the best and most satisfying looking war brickfilm that you've done. Big movie studio companies should really consider hiring you if they ever needed bad ass stop motion animator / VFX artist!

Fantastic work. I have shared your video with fellow retired Royal Naval Officers, and we all agree that your attention to historical, ship, aircraft (Stringbags), weapon systems and other detail is just truly awesome. Well done! We especially loved the looks of grim determination on the faces of the little Officers' and Sailors' faces. It's just like that, when the shells are flying!

Absolutely phenomenal! I'm pretty sure many would pay big bucks for you to make a step by step course guide

The short length of the finished product belys the length of time required to set up, film and finish the final piece. I love how each individual sound can be heard and that some are over layed with others, and details of the historical event itself is amazing! Very well made! Love it!
@niekbreeman22582 жыл бұрын
THIS is what we call impressive and interesting. A mix from lego, history, and IT things. the video's are cool, but behinds the scenes makes is better if you watch the video again; then you recognise things form the behind the scenes video's.

I’m not sure if you’re aware, but there is a Polish company that makes accurate recreations of historical military vehicles. Cobi is the brand. The bricks are compatible with Lego and are good quality. It can be difficult to find sets as they are imported, but they may make builds easier. Your work is amazing and I hope you can continue with it.
