[JDEF in english] Special Forces : doing it differently with 3rd dimension

Regarding this unpublished issue, “Special forces : doing it differently with 3rd dimension”, “Le journal de la Défense” (#JDef) followed the French Special Forces commandos’ training during 6 months.
We know neither their faces nor their names, and their missions are even kept secret. Nevertheless, they intervene at any time throughout the world.
Release of hostages, counter-piracy missions, war criminals’ arrest… The 3.300 members of the SOC, the French Special Operations Command, are part of all commitments, time to time in the most demanding conditions.
Whether they belong to the Army, the Air Force or the Navy, all Special Forces units have to master the 3rd dimension, which stands for a conducive environment to their interventions

They do, our 3 Branches have exchanges and even work with international units (mostly European and American units) ~H

GSG-9 Is a police counter terror unit. However the French Special Operations Units like the 1er RPiMA or the French SAS and the Commandos Marine do their own separate and indigenous training, however they do provide advisement to dozens of countries like Brazil, Iraq etc. They do some training with other units but most of it is from the French military. France is very French and does not like to involve itself with other nations. Hence why they did not take part in the Invasion of Iraq.

Pour être dans les force spéciale il faut être née en France 🇫🇷 il y'a une enquête sur t'a famille normal, la légion c'est autre chose il faut prouver que tu mérite le quepi blanc, je ponce que tu peux réussir, mai les forces speciales ses autre chose le niveau ses limites bac plus 2 donc sous officiers je ponce que sa sera pas possible 🙆 mon ami en sachant la sélection et stricte plus que la légion sa touche le secret national.

Some years ago french special forces did a parajump during night in Bulgaria. They did't informed Bulgarian government of course. After the jump they got beaten by Bulgarian peasants who thought that these people are trying to steal from their fields. Some of the spec ops had broken bones and stayed in Bulgarian hospital. There was big political scandal, but I am glad they have orders not to use weapons otherwise it would be a complete disaster in Bulgarian - French relationship. We Bulgarians are not your African colony, have some respect.
