One of the best scores ever to be composed in film history.

I also liked "Conan the Barbarian" by Basil Polidouris. There's almost no diologe for the first 15 minutes of the film, the score tells the story.

Absolutely. People don't recognize the power of the score because of the hacked up movie that was distributed in the U.S. You get a better sense of the emotion of this score when you watch the original movie-Gojira.
This is the best version that has been created, and we have a movie for it that's how his orchestration was the greatest thing that I've ever seen thank you Jesus for having us

That was awesome!!! As a Godzilla fan, I appreciate the effort placed into this music symphony. Well done!!!
This took me way back my childhood. The music was so perfectly orchestrated that I could actually see the movies play when I close my eyes to appreciate this musical piece. Well done. Absolutely loved it. Wish I was there live to experience it.
This just randomly came on while I was looking up TOHO themes and... Wow... Chills. I thought it was the real deal, its such a good rendition and it was covered perfectly!

I would pay dearly, to sit in a theater, to hear this very symphonic fury!!! Man, so hard to keep back the tears of joy, listening to it!!!!
the eternal movies. (Individual remark)(笑)thanks for uploading Merci beaucoup.

I think Ifukube would be incredibly proud of you, his compilation finally receiving the global attention it truly deserves. Thank you for undertaking this project, I'm so happy this got brought to the states.
I'm thrilled that such a great performance is taking place across the ocean in Chicago. Thank you everyone!

The theme from 10:09 just hits me in the feels EVERY time! Reminds me of watching the movies as a kid and loving the awful English dub and being in awe at the action scenes with miniatures! Really wish Bear would have done a better tribute to this piece of music in the recent movies.

Ifukube family of Akira Ifukube had been Japanese traditional religion priest of one of the most oldest and more than 2000 years histolical Izumo shrine. And Akira grew up with the people of Ainu indigenous people in Japan. So that Akira was not only a Japanese ethnic musician but also the one who had ancient sensibilities before the establishment of Japan. Can you hear it in his music?

@9:17 the melody takes me to a final stage of a fight scene with the most monstrous final boss of a triple A game! AMAZING!
A superb work by a Japanese legend. Godzilla and mates live, thanks to this marvellous symphonic work, which is derived from various motifs Ifukube composed for the Toho films.

You can hear echos of the Toho scores in the recent American Godzilla flicks. When Godzilla breaks out of the ice to confront Ghidorah, you hear his theme. You also heard the Japanese navy music with the American military shots in that movie.

In this case music tells it like it is in this wonderful world of ours. War, terror, and many forms of mayhem seem to reign supreme . . . until kingdom comes. I admire some aspects of Japanese culture. This is one of them.
