It is worth the money! I've got mine last year and I am really pleased.I like the idea of not having too many apps and notifications on it, I have phone for all that. The battery is insane, it lasts 1 month!

Great review. I have had my steel HR for nearly 5 years. Finally replacing with another Steel HR Spirt. This has been a wonderful device over the years. It honestly keeps getting better. And the stellar battery life allows it to turn into an unobtrusive yet massively beneficial accessory.

three yrs ago, I paid $180 on Amazon and still happy with the purchase, a little surprised with the increase I see lately but still worth it if you appreciate a watch that can do all these functions and only charge once a month......

I have mine since 1 year and a half, and it's still great ! It's not a "true" sport watch, so sometimes it's a bit limited (for example you don't get HR zone notification while running) but the battery life is awesome, the notifications are just enough to know if it's important (like, if I get a text message saying just "ok" I won't have to pull my phone) The app is pretty nicely done too The design is great, 40mm is pretty cool for people like me who have relatively slender wrist, and I have a few bands to select depending on what I'm wearing I recommend a lot ! And I'm also very tempted by scanwatch, that have even more functionality and battery, and a sapphire glass

I have a fossil hybrid watch with a removable battery. It does the same thing the withings does but with a 3-6 month battery. I just want it in a sport version so I'm not constantly taking it off for the pool or shower.

Hey I have an IPhone 6s Which would be a better option according to you Fossils Gen 5 or Apple Watch Series 3? And Great Content!
@JDubb4 жыл бұрын
If you have iOS the integration of the Apple Watch is better but Fossil (WearOS) keeps getting better so its a hard one 😂

Hi, I have two questions that you did not cover. Would be great if your about to answer them, please. Question 1.. Does the watch consistently vibrate for an incoming call, or just once... Question 2.. What happens during 11 and 1 pm.. do the hour and minutes hand cover the OLED screen? thanks in advance.
@JDubb3 жыл бұрын
1. Vibrates repeatedly 2. The bands cover the screen

@@JDubb Thank you very much. But if a notification comes on "will the minutes/hour hands move", so that you can read the message and then go back to it's current time.? thank you for your response.

@@tonyarnachellum3364 I can still read them well enough then it goes back to sleep. The screen only comes on when you push the button or a notification comes in

Great review and strongly considering it! Have you done any exploration on how accurate the heart rate sensing is? I saw a different review from a while back warning it could be up to 30bpm off during higher intensity workouts when checked against a manual pulse count or an apple watch. Thanks!

Hi, I have a question, which one is better? Withings Steel HR or Garmin Move Style? Because to be honest, i dont know which one i have to choose.
@JDubb3 жыл бұрын
The Garmin has some more features like payments, and some additional tracking stuff. It's more like an actual smartwatch. The Steel HR is a little bit lower key no payment options or anything like that but the battery life is significantly different. Where the Garmin maxes out at about 5 days, the Steel HR should get you about 15.

@JDubb4 жыл бұрын
It gets the time data from your phone so imagine it would change accordingly

I'm a frequent traveler too , and it's pretty cool : everytime I put my phone back online, in the very next seconds the watch hand will adjust to the new phone time, I love watching it change when waiting to go out of the plane :)

Absolutely useless customer service and substandard products. Bought two steel hr sports and both started losing time in the first 6 months. 7 months have passed and withings still can’t replace the two faulty watches. More than a 100 email thread and still no resolution. What a shame withings
