All YG groups spent 2021 producing lots of songs in the studio to get ready for 2022 where all artists will receive a lot of support, starting with Treasure who will release a full album this month. Expect world tours and full albums from all groups with high budget production. This is what YG said.

For those downgrading Queen Jeon Somi's SPECTACULAR performance because she lip-synced some parts: First of all, I'd like to see you dance like her and sing every line perfectly. I'll wait. Second of all, She was singing live on some parts with loud backtrack. I believe it's acceptable for only soloists to do this because they have to sing the whole time while dancing with no breaks versus a girl/boy group that only have to sing parts of their song and have plenty of time to catch their breath while dancing. In short, stop comparing her to unrealistic standards.

she was lip syncing its quite obvious she rapped herself and sang the bridge rest was recorded but thats not wrong usually during performences like these idols lip sync because of hard choreo so its okay to lip sync sometimes

@@Noorg.07 Exactly. I mean even for groups, some choose to lip sync parts for whatever reasons (hard choreo, bad condition, etc) but it's very common in this industry. The only group that I know that consistently sings live in all events is Stray Kids because that's their personal preference and just an added bonus to their reputation. But just because an artist lips syncs certain parts doesn't make them any less of an kpop artist. For big events like these, it's done for better production. Go to their concert if you wanna hear them live.
