I couldn't imagine a World where I couldn't have that opertunity to have a Bond with a Dolphin It has been my dream to Work with Dolphins or Orcas and I couldn't imagine not being able to fulfill my dreams bc of false information Now some and most Marine parks are not suitable for Cetaceans but some like SeaWorld and Georgia Aquarium are actually suitable for these animals and know what they are doing

Dolphins are incredibly intelligent and emotionally advanced animals that live in families in vast ocean areas. Taking them from their family, placing them in a concrete pool, and having them perform tricks is cruel. We didn't know then, but we know now. They deserve to live free in the ocean. To want to bond with a dolphin in captivity for your dream comes at the expense of the captive dolphin. Please understand its not in their best interest.

@@OceanFuturesSociety I do agree Dolphins Belugas and Such that were captured can be released but when it comes to animals who were born there they can not Its the same amount of stress to release a Captive born Cetacean to Capture a wild born Cetacean Because if you take a Captive Born Animal and release it into the wild you just took it from the only home its ever known And if you take a Wild Animal and put it in captivity you also took it from the only home it has ever known So yes we do know more then we did then why do you think people stopped capturing? Taking animals from the wild is Cruel and I dont agree with it But *Believe It* or *not* taking a animal from where it was born even if its a tank its still Cruel So taking the captive born creatures from these places is taking them from there family I mean if you were to free SeaWorlds orcas you had better free them at the same time and change the law in california where they say its Illegal to transport orcas now so if you manage to change the law you better find the money to take more then one orca at a Time If you took Ulises (Father) From Amaya (Calf) Or Amaya from Makani Or Keet from Ulises Ulises from Kalia Orkid from Ulises or Ikiaka Or Amaya (Calf) from Kalia (Mother) Like these animals are attached to each other more then People will ever know

@@ulisesmarvels We've learned that returning dolphins or killer whales to the ocean is very difficult. We now believe the most humane action would be to place them in an enclosed ocean area in the ocean where they will have more freedom to move and where they can be taken care of for the rest of their lives. Whale Sanctuary Project is working to create these sanctuaries. Captive born dolphins and orcas would be welcome to these places and although they have never been in the ocean they would still enjoy a higher standard of living than in a concrete pool. They will be taken care of for the rest of their lives.

@@OceanFuturesSociety But would they be transferred at about the same time?
@OceanFuturesSociety4 жыл бұрын
@@ulisesmarvels There currently isn't a plan to do this though if the those orca were to be offered to the Sanctuary I believe we could fund raise to help make it happen and to ensure they would be transported at about the same time so that they arrived to their new ocean home at about the same time. Then these orca that have been together could stay together in a much better environment.
