I have heard some JMJ - Rendez Vous Part II cover by other JMJ fans in these years, which have passed, but to be honest with you and them I still like the version when Jean Michel Jarre and his musicians is playing that part in Paris La Defense concert JMJ had in 1990 :) That concert is still my favourite and EIC Barcelona in 1993 is my 2nd JMJ favourite concert

I liked JMJ since I had memories, my parents always played his music, that's the reason I fell in love with synthesizers and ambiental music as well, my favorite live concert and specifically, live version of this song, is houston lyon Every show is unique and Every performance he does is amazing!!!

Elwalle besides Rendez-Vous II the original version, what version of Rendez-Vous II played in one of Jean Michel Jarre's concerts did you like? Great stuff, a great composition of music, this song came out in 1986, to coincide JMJs concert Rendezvous Houston, where most freeways had to close down to see this city in concert, huge lazer projections covered buildings tones of fireworks, a free concert, est audience of around 1.5million, This song you can see and hear of Rendezvous Houston on KZbin,

Sound designing with Arturia plugins (or well-known as VSTs) and some presets! And a MIDI controller to manipulate some assigned parameters like a real syntheziser!

I tried to recreate laser harp sound with some Arturia plugins, as one of my first full covers, didn´t know how to use them at all, as well as I have no knowledge of music production in that time, but I felt happy about the results! 👻

Nice try, but the middle part (the laser harp part) sounded very thin and lacked the evocative sound of the original. 7/10.
