Le Male Elixir by Jean Paul Gaultier is a Amber Fougere fragrance for men. This is a new fragrance. Le Male Elixir was launched in 2023. The nose behind this fragrance is Quentin Bisch. Top notes are Lavender and Mint; middle notes are Vanilla and Benzoin; base notes are Honey, Tonka Bean and Tobacco.

People who said both smell exactly the same are absolutely wrong. I got both and Le Parfum way different than Elixer. Both absolutely can be worn for different occasions. Depends what you are looking for but you can add both to your rotation.

I got them both. To my nose they are very different. Love them both. Le parfum: spicy, warm, powdery. Elixir: fruity, tobacco, and vanilla.

@pjlewis8089 Elixir performs just as well it has longevity, you're going to get more of a spicy vanilla ambery scent, whereas with le parfum you get that powdery vanilla plus the iris.

I just had to make this decision within the past two weeks. The Elixir is usually described as smelling of Toffee and Honey. Living in Central Florida, I was afraid that would be too rich even for the Fall/Winter. Now after I have received Le Parfum, I am so glad that was my chosen option. I love the Iris and Vanilla combination of Le Parfum!

Le parfum is a monster. People say 8 hours longevity. But in my experience on a clean skin Le parfum has +12 hours longevity. My clothes, my wardrobe, my pillow smells like it.

I tried the Le Male Le Parfum and it smells more aromatic with some mint and vanilla, similar to the Elixir but not Sweet. The Elixir is more for me as I've always liked Gourmand smelling fragrances like Tobacco Vanille.

Elixir is called elixir for a reason. Parfum vs edp isn’t as close as you think it is. When I wear my le male elixir, its lasts so long that I wake up in the next morning and it still projects and talking about projection, IT FILLS ROOMS FOR HOURS

i sprayed the elixir just one time in my hand and its smelling for the past 4 days . After I showred 3 times ,washed my hands a lot of times, still smelling . I cant stand how long lasting and strong it is . New fragrance in the wish list ps: I tried the le male le parfum. I iked it and got a lot of compliments , but that sweetness from the elixir hypnotized me . I would suggest to just buy them both I cant decide between them

Le Parfum was a love at first sniff for me. I do own a bottle. I've tried the Elixir once, and I was surprised how strong it was. I think it's excellent. I'm just not in a hurry to get it. I will try it once more before I decide.

In my opinion, Le Parfum smells like a toned down version of Ultramale, it's more subtle rather than loud. Le Parfum is like an old brother of Ultramale. Elixir on the other hand smells a bit like mint when you smell it on the air but you get the sweet vanilla when you come really close. I almost thought Elixir was a fresh fragrance.

They smell nothing at all alike. One million elixer just smells like straight up vanilla extract, le male elixer smells like a vanilla ice cream drizzled with honey and some spices.
