I’m still trying to get my goals done from the 1990s!!! I have a set of blocks I made with the date of 1981-82 - they are all hand pieced as that’s the way I started. Oh, and it’s a quilt for our son who was born in 1980 - he will be 45 next week!

Agree with everyone else’s comments, the two of you together make a great pairing. You rub off each other so well. This Christmas I made a load of quilt as you go crazy Christmas stockings. I used them instead of wrapping paper and they were well received by friends and family. Though still have loads of Christmas scraps. Thank you ladies for a great interlude in my hectic life.

I was so impressed by your covered notebooks that you had with you one time that I bought myself a spiral notebook and made myself a cover. Mine has an applique cat on the front. What is the "Storm at Sea"?

I love this. You two complement each other and are a stitch. Shelley from The Quilted Forrest picks 12 WIP or UFO’s. She put each one in a different box and numbers them from 1-12. At the beginning of each month she draws a number from 1-12 and then works on that project for that month. I started this too, and finished a quilt in January -YEAH- that had been sitting around for 3 years. Plus I added a few Bonus quilts incase I finished a quilt early. On to pick February, now. I’m not into pre-cuts but could make a set of Charm Packs from my stash to do your challenge, Jeanette. I do have a book that uses Charm Packs, I think I’ll look at it to see if anything trips my trigger. From Avon Park, Florida.

Christmas scraps possibilities: table runners, placemats, drink coasters, gift bags, checkerboards, stiffed toys, pillow cases, pillow covers (I use 16” square pillows for mine), tic-tac-toe boards, aprons, pot holders, and oven mitts ….. just to get you started.👍🏻👵🏻

When doing your Storm at Sea - I recommend that all fabrics be starched prior to cutting. as every block is a bias seam! some are 60 degrees and some are 45 degrees. And recommend to new quilters - they can starch the fabric twice! as the seams are so stretchy on these bias seams. And get extra fabric yardage - if you have to rip out a seam - it's too stretchy to reuse the piece!! (I tried to upload my storm at sea but couldn't. :(. )

Katrina, doing a monthly list is great. I started to make a list of 12 and following The Quilted Forest, I work on what ever number she draws for that month. I might be a project I have or have not started, such as a WIP or pattern I've not tackled. I like how you wrote across from the list what you need to do such as organize and cut pieces.
