Can't say I would ever be interested in this book. I'm fed up with having the 'trans' thing shoved down my throat at every turn. OK, now after listening to her anti Brexit, pro-trans rhetoric, I feel she is trying to make a desperate grab for legitimacy by being politically correct and so concerned with contrived and un-authentic characters. Her ridiculous contempt for Wales shows how ignorant she is. She should watch Anthony Hopkin's movie 'Heartland'. I have lost all respect for this woman. She used to ba a not so bad writer. But now the fashion is for lesbian writers to write non-lesbian books. Sarah Waters is another one who has fallen from grace. And it is pathetic for a lesbians to evince such empathy for lonely men hetero men. Besides its an old idea, given much better treatment by Offenbach in the opera Tales of Hoffman.
