You know we have two more coming - ornaments and picks!!! If I’m going to decorate the same the loops and wire would stay and only the tails get rolled in for storage. In this case some the tree comes down after we film it gets rolled back in it the cut pieces so I can make something else with it. We never iron ribbon. Ours is so quality you can just roll it back and it knows what to do if you store it right. 🫶🏻❤️ xo

How long are your cut pieces? For those of us not an expert, it would make understanding g your tutorial easier. :-)

They were “cut” because I had already used the ribbon to make the double loop bow tutorial that came out the week prior. You don’t precut ribbon. You make your loops, get it into the tree as you want it and then once it’s where you love it, you give it a cut. This was just a ribbon I had happened to use so it was “cut” but also a lesson in why it’s ok to cut. People are generally nervous to do so and many others are still recovering from something they saw on TT to cut it into 18l” sections (don’t ever do that). So there is no answer…. On a used roll that was rolled back together I never know what length they will be but they are always usable because I used it right the first time.

About how long do you cut each strip of ribbon?

We do not pre-cut our ribbon. First you make your loop and then you attach it to the tree. Once that is done, you work your ribbon down through the tree until you get your desired design and then you give it a cut. If you are going to do the same design every year when you take your ribbon down, you would roll up the tail all the way to the loop and you would leave the loop intact. If you are going to change everything you would take the loop out and roll the ribbon all the way like it was back on a roll. You still have enough to design something with if you choose to use it a different way. Because no matter what every single thing you ever cut will be used for a single double or triple loop plus worked through the tree so you will always have length.🙃 I hope that makes sense.❤️

Jeanna is the best! BUT if you are like me, I have been trying to recreate her ribbon looks for the last few years and NEVER quite get it there. The quality of the ribbon is a part of the equation I never thought of. I keep buying less expensive ribbon (WalMart, Hobby Lobby, Michael’s - you know what I mean) and it will never turn out like Jeanna’s.My loops are wrinkled and are lacking BODY. I am saving all my dollars next year and will be buying the ribbon Jeanna uses. Christmas tree 2025 will be the bomb!

You can do it with all ribbon! You just have to work it more 🫠🫶🏻 but it can be done and it definitely more one x use. I need to do a tutorial with cheaper ribbon. Next year!! But mine is 👌🏻 that is for sure ❤️ I love Christmasing with you!!!
