When I use Bridge it exports the mesh but it doesn't send textures. How do I fix this?

This is great! Have you found a fix for the materials not being connected to the object dragged in. Also - I have to have Bridge and Blender opened at the same time. Then when i click the + symbol in Bridge - The item appears in the Blender scene but the materials are not connected

Thanks for the tip. Bridge didn't work for me out of the box. I got an error: "Could not send data over port 28888". Assets could not be imported. Luckily, I found the solution here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIDWpHWPgcp2nc0. The assets do import now, but not the texture maps. I have to add them manually with the Node Wrangler (CTR+SHIFT+T). So it is still a pain. I used to import an fbx-file from the Quixel/FAB-site and added the textures manually. So Bridge is not much of a help right now for me.

Laptop is good for learning UI but you'll need a better pc. Get memory and download as many Quixel textures as you can. I wouldn't worry about assets. Get a variety of different kinds of textures. Learn to to model and texture properly. Blender 4.3 is the easiest software to use with all the new tools and extensions. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise, they don't know what they are talking about. Spend the next year on modeling, texturing and texture painting. You'll be able to make anything you want
