What's the noise level on this pump like, in the rear chamber? Is it sitting on the glass at the bottom? Or did you cut the lining short to make it levitated in the water?

Thanks for your question. It's sitting on the very bottom on the glass. I dont here any Noise coming from that pump.

@artisticreefs thanks for the reply! I've ordered this pump to replace a sicce syncra that is too noisy out the box for my standards but the Sicce although reliable is still an AC pump. So anxiously waiting in the mail for this Jebao DC pump hoping it'll fix the noise issue. Also, fmI should have mentioned in my first comment that you put up a great video and great review. So thanks for the detailed unboxing!

They are holding up great and still running quiet. Great pumps for the money. Are you using one?

No, it will turn off if not in water, must be used underwater.

Do you notice any sparks from the plugs when plugging the power supply into the controller? Older models have this issue and it’s a bit disconcerting.

No, never noticed that before. But I always connecting the power supply to the controller first, than plug into the wall.

Sorry for the late reply, I've had mine for about a year now and still running strong. Yes, they are durable. Just make sure you clean them out at least every six months or so.

how quiet it is ? i got muyself a Hydor SELTZ DC 2000 for my waterbox 20 and fits like a glove an love the flow the downside it’s quite noise compare to the eheim compacton 1000 that supuse to replace, is more quiet on speed 6 of 6 then 1 of 6 …. almost waiting to return it for a syncra 1.5.. idk at this moment

Hi Are you experiencing any uneven water flow? I'm tweaking jebao smart return pump MDP-2000 for last 7 days or to much or not enough flow I I try from 50-80 gear % Nothing works ( Pls let me know if you have any ideas?

Sorry for the late reply and Happy New Year. No, I haven't experienced any uneven water flow issues from my return pump. Uneven water flow issues are usually from not cleaning your pump and or something clogging the inlet of the pump. Could there be something in your return line that is giving you uneven water flow? hope this helps.

Hi Andy and thank you for your question. If you watch the entire video, it shows you the dimensions for this pump. But here are the dimensions. 5"x3"x3" with screen protector on 4"x3"x3" with screen protector off
