0:40 fun fact, David Neeleman actually had a part in all 3 airlines in this video, CEO and founder of Breeze, founder of JetBlue, and he co-founded morris air which was bought by Southwest. He also is the chairman and founder of Azul Airlines, and helped set up WestJet as well. All of them are pretty good airlines so we have a lot to thank him for in the industry.

@@LEVELGAZANOW He was only "fired" from JetBlue and that was due to Barger's playing office politics during a crisis. Employees at the time were *not* happy with that happening either. The other two he left all on his own - Southwest to help startup up the Canadian airline WestJet, due to a 5 year non-compete with SW, then he left WestJet after it expired to found "New Air" which became jetBlue. Azul is doing alright, considering it served 29 millions passengers last year and for Breeze, there are rumors that jetBlue might buy it- ironically. Outside that, doesn't seem like Breeze is struggling or anything and it serves routes no one else really does which is a clincher for many.

As a former ground crewman for WN, I can say that I'm impressed with the comparison between all three carriers. During my 20 year career with Southwest, I have seen it all from the famed 10-minute turnaround to 9/11 to rapid expansions via code-shares and acquisitions (ATA followed by AirTran). I can say with 100% honesty that I do miss the wildly fun atmosphere of WN because having fun at work is ingrained in the culture. I have seen similar work crews at the other airlines, and I do believe that certain airports/stations have different workplace cultures than others. All that being said, Bags Fly Free and fun flights are the way to go regardless of seat size. What I do lament is the club-style seating on the former -200s/-300s/-500s in the fleet (front two rows, over-wing rows and far aft cabin rows were all aligned so that you would have a chance to fly "backwards" as if you were on a private jet). Good times! :) Thanks for all you do, Jeb and Suzanne!

I just got back from a trip to and from BWI on WN and both were MAX8. Trip in had no power at the seats but the trip back did. I think they are making a huge mistake getting rid of their boarding process and going to assigned seats. I enjoy it way more because it’s faster to get on and off the plane most of the time. Plus, it’s unique and differentiating. The 24 hour before check in time isn’t that stressful, IMO. WN’s real differentiator though is their A+ ground game and fun crews for sure. Along with super consistent product; you always know what to expect. Everyone on the crew actually seems to be having fun at work.

It's better compared against the ultra-low cost carriers like Spirit, Allegiant, and Frontier. Imo, Breeze wins hands down! With the add-ons, I was surprised to see how similar in price Breeze was to the others. Southwest and Jetblue are more similar to legacy airlines than Breeze. Your flight on JetBlue actually looked like a Delta flight! (TV, internet, choice of snacks, etc). Where I'm from, SW and JB are sometimes less expensive than American or Delta, but not always. But, I'll be sure to look at JetBlue more closely, especially if I can get a similar experience for a little cheaper! Thank you for sharing!

It was really awesome getting to see the airlines that I've flown quite a bit in my time. I have tried Breeze before, but that was on their E-190. I really want to try their A220 though! I also did try JetBlue's A220-300 and Southwest's B737-700 before as well, and I've always enjoyed those flights. Lastly, I really do appreciate you choosing RSW for your airport choice, as that was my home airport for 3 years and made a lot of memories there, great seeing it again!

Love this comparison! For Breeze, we need a Nice, Nicer, and Nicest comparison. Maybe try the Breeze thru, one is Orlando-Akron-LAX!
