I deleted my comment as I felt I may have over stepped. It was about how lucky I feel to be sober and how grateful I am to be alive. Cheers all. Sorry if I over stepped Jedd

I got sober January 16 2015. Best thing I ever did for myself and my kids. There are a lot of us out here, and you are probably helping people you have no idea about because you share your story. You are such an amazing singer, songwriter, guitarist, I can’t wait to see how you keep growing. Love your stuff, and thanks for sharing. I promise I will get down to see a show soon. June is a crazy month for me.

Sober guy here. Wasn’t expecting to see this, just came to your channel because I love your guitar playing, but it made me so happy to see it! Excellent job, man - it takes a little while to feel normal again, but as you’re seeing, the songs start to come out. It’s an odd thing to say, but going through all that stuff gives you so much material in retrospect. Thanks for sharing - you’re a badass!

So I got call from my doctor and she wanted to move up the consultation with my results. Originally scheduled for tomorrow in Santa Monica. it is now a Video appointment today at 3: 30 I’ve kind of been freaking out a little my heart’s been racing and my breathing been a little shallow. But this guys song and his story has calmed me right down. Your timing was perfect. It is what it is and everything will be fine. Love you, brother. God is good. So Jedd I hope you read this. If you could imagine waiting on results of a tumor growing in your lung unfortunately it was cancer so the journey begins for good brother I grew up with and played a lot of music with. My name is Matt and my friends name is Mike. We both thank you pray for Mike. Oh I celebrate 35 years of sober living this October. Hang in there

Love the song and happy to hear you’re doing so much better jedd! I’m not a writer or songwriter myself but I read this book “bird by bird” by Anne lamott about the writing process and was amazed at how involved, emotional, and treacherous it sounded. Huge respect to everyone who pushes that deeply into themselves and the world for a few nuggets of truth to share with the world ❤

Great performance. Alcohol is complete BS, it’s a real battle especially as society normalises it. As a dad it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself and my family to quit drinking. Young people, especially boys need good role models who can demonstrate it’s possible to lead a fulfilling life without booze.

After 25 years I finally made it stick December 2016, I didn't feel safe from my own choices for a couple of years after that, and initially I had to shut down that nagging impulse thousands of times a day. After searching for distraction for so long I made a friend of isolation and eventually myself, then healthier people. I'm a different person now and I have a new found empathy for my former self, he didn't have the skills for all the shit he had to deal with even if it was of his own creation! Now, I'm the happiest I've ever been and helpful to others which I'm proud of. I wish you the best with your on-going recovery and look forward to more songs. Thanks for sharing mate🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

Always here for you mate, no questions asked. I have a story for sometime too. I tried to write about it but it won't come out yet. Some great songs were written like that. 8) There is a newer company, Music Nomad, making guitar tools that are pretty good. I think even Amazon has them. My double sided diamond coated fret files from StewMac were $300/pair, likely more now. They cut great, and are still like new, just very $$!! I got tired of not having what I needed, or having junk. Like the new song!! --gary
