sell on turn 3, get 2 blood gems and can buy 2. It solves the awkward 5 gold on turn 3, as well as letting you buff a tier 2 unit, and maybe if you get lucky, getting some quillboars like jazzer or tough tusk. (which you saw in the video)

Think about it this way, is it better to lose turn 1 and 2 or have an awkward turn 3. And the hero jeff pick actually increase the odd that gem would land in a higher tier unit
