Hi Bro, I’ve been using Petrol Compass for 3 years. Really amazing & VFM. Recently went to Tirupati from Bangalore, excellent road & the milage was almost 14.5KML. I didn’t expect such huge vehicle giving good mileage. I bought it mainly for solid build & safety. IMO safety & build quality rating should be 4.75.

Coming from Seltos...ipo pazhagi pochu..😅 Wanted to add this Reply I gave to another user. This is about Jeep Reliability. My 2cents on the same as I own one. Major issues oflate is bcos of the following reason. Bcos of bs6. Also bcos ppl don't know they should not use auto start stop feature. It is ok with petrol head but diesel , especially turbo should not be turned on and off multiple times. Also turning on and off vehicle will ruin transmission too. So if that is not turned on when starting car, slowly components worsen and eventually results in breakdown. It is most controversial feature accepted by Automotive industry from the environmental lobby , bcos it helps the automotive industry more than the environment. Diesel cars should be handled well and you'll have years and years of great ownership. I personally know lots of Jeep compass owners completing 1.8L on odo and still car is in pristine condition. One more reason I'll add is pp in India think, if they pay anything more than 30L as luxury car and drive it as if it is performance car. Big No. Jeep is a avg consumer car in US and Europe giving value for money. The car costs 18L in ex show room invoice, rest 17.5L is GST, tax and cess. So not to diven like some Maserati. Even Maserati will fail if driven rough.

@@arunkannan8580 it costs anywhere between 18-25k. But that is if it's only routine. Anything off warranty will cost extra. Also service centre will try to slip in unnecessary work and charges like it happens every service centre. But here those charges are expensive. So I'll say more or less more than Suzuki. But if you're buying a 36-39L car you have to be prepared for these 1.more than 18k service cost for 15k or a year which ever is early 2. Not great mileage in city. I get around 9. Highway bet 12-18 depends on stretch and driving dynamics 3. Low resale value unless we get lucky with someone mad in love with a Jeep.

I was waiting for this review as I had recently took the test drive of compass. The solid feel I had with driving Ecosport and confidence in breaking is same with both the vehicles. Now I understand how much Ecosport was underrated in its budget. As you said Second row is bit congested for 3, but it would be my next dream car too after my Ecosport.

Ford is still giving service and talks about reentry. Ecosport is a superb compact crossover and very much missed. Infact i would have upgraded to Ford endeavour had it been avl. So finally settled for Jeep compass 4x4. But eco sport was absolute value for money offering in Indian market.

Big fan of your work.. it would be nice if you can create videos on engine/gear box(separately)functions for a beginner. Most of us are only looking at comfort functions and not at engines and other mechanical stuff, we always hear you say different types of engine i believe your last podcast was on engines but it was much info to consume in one podcast, it would be helpful if you can show a live engines performance and explain what is TSI/TDI displacements etc..

Perfect review, you said it correct. I own a 2023 compass, its a driver's car. In Pune, same quality car is manufactured and sent to 16+ countries. AT doesn't have first gear. Manual is the best car, I got 18.2 kmpl from Goa to Chennai. 19.7 kmpl Marthandam to Trichy. In 3 months I covered 7k+ kilometres (for daily office, I don't use this vehicle, I prefer walking). It's corner performance is excellent. For Kanyakumari district roads this car will not be a good choice.

Hi Asir Bro. I think you missed out a point or feature of Jeep compass in this review. It had a feature that you can't move the car without wearing a seat belt. It'll automatically kill the engine if we try to move without wearing a seat belt. I driven the first gen Jeep compass which had this feature, hope the newer gen is also having this as well. Correct me if I'm wrong!!!!

My car has stopped in middle of the road not once or twice more than 10 times it has stopped ..when given for service they changed the battery ,alternator and diesel pump on warranty.after 4 months again they are changing the battery and diesel pump ..it had happened trice but still the problem persist ..

I always prefer the Driver Seat Vehicle.. (like Ford Figo 2011 model still using ) I test drove the Jeep, a year back , Drivability is good, but It is really not a good vehicle for family people, as they were not comfortable during the Journey, due to tough Suspension..

I was too keen to buy this but rear seat was disappointing & too costly which is marginally bigger than Hyundai Creta.. They sell around 734 vehicles per month which is too low .. For a car which is costing around 40 lakhs should have ADAS Level 2 .. So went ahead & bought Hyundai Tucson completed 10,000 KMS very happy with the decision
