We too own a model S 4x4 and get around 18 on highway without hard accelarations and around 13-14 in the city (regular ac + seat ventilation as well), quite satisfied with the mileage considering it's a big 2.0L engine.

I recently travelled on Samruddhi Mahamarg, at constant speeds of 120 and beyond that as well for a short time in my BS4 Compass Limited Plus 4x2, MID showed a mileage of 17.8-18 kmpl, and the actual calculation was also close to this only. If we were about to cruise at 80 or 100 , the mileage would definitely cross 19-20 kmpl.

Nice and informative. Your chanel is a blessing in disguise for jeep owners. I too own a 4×4 diesel compass. I'll be driving from Mumbai to nathwara Rajasthan on 12th aug which is around 800 kms. Will test on fuel but not on 85kmph for sure.

I have gotten similar highway mileage in Modle S AT. Mostly on highways in Punjab, similar traffic conditions as yours. System calculated mileage and tank to tank differs by 0.9 KM in mine, exactly the same in your case. In a month, around 5K KM of driving in a ratio of 60:40 ingot mileage of 15.7 KMPL.

From belgaum to hosur(near bengalore) we reached in exactly 5 hours.. almost 600kms of distance.. in this very same car.. and milage was 11.5 to 12.5.. yes it can aramse give above 16kmpl on highway for 90 to 100 kmph

Both are good. Manual feel more powerful only thing you will lose is 4x4 . First ask yourself if u need it.

At 90 it’s in 8th. The car goes into 9th only at 97. Gotten 17 cruising at 110, 1700 rpm. when possible over 600km distance.

Partially true, at City speeds takes some efforts. But I have raced ahead of other cars at red lights many a times 😁

@@himanshukhuntia4293 Driving is fun, you will enjoy it. I got my car on 1st Oct 2021, not a year yet and I have driven it 41K KM. I never felt it to be underpowered. Gear shift is smooth. One thing that bothers me is rattling noise. Nothing else. And Model S gives you all the functional features available at the moment.

This car has 9 Speed Auto gearbox and 9th gear gets engaged after 90km/hr. I feel like you can get much more milage as engine RPM will be around 1500 and speed will be around 95km/hr. I have Two jeep compass one is 2017 Limited manual 4x2 on which i get over 22km/ltr driving like the way you did and average is 14.5 overall for over 40000kms.For model S 4x4 AT i get 11.5 average as of now it is only driven 3500 km i havent tested its maximum milage yet. The model S 4x4 AT is slower as it takes almost 13 seconds to reach 0 to 100km/hr for that K&N air intake kit will do the trick.

@@tourismotto First talk to dealership if they agree then use full intake kit if not then Go for K&N air filter that wont void warrenty and will also enhance overall performance like 0 to 100, fuel economy will add more horse power.

Hi, this is very informative. Can you also share the mileage that you are getting in the Sarjapur, HSR & Bellandur area(daily commute)? I got a decent 14.2 kmpl yesterday on a Nice road drive. But, I am not able to get anything more than 7/7.2 kmpl in daily commute within the areas mentioned previously..
