I just called the dealer today, they have the visors in stock, driver side only $270.00 and passenger side $170.00. That doesn’t include installation. YIKES, I am so glad I saw this video.

Thank you for the easy solution. Just to let you know, I went to the dealership trying to use the warranty which I paid $2K+ extra to cover any malfunction on my 2020 Rubicon Jeep (we don’t use it often only has 20K+ miles) and guess what? YES!! the visor problem was covered under the warranty the only thing it’s that I need to pay the deductible which it’s only $200.00 YES!!! TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS‼️ I’m really happy to find your solution on KZbin, definitely I will order the pieces to fix it myself on EBay or any other vendor. I can stop saying Thank you for the easy and non expensive solution. 😀👍🏼😀👍🏼😀👍🏼

Awesome. Both my visors are broken. The other repair i found involved taking the top of jeep apart and replacing the crappy pressure washers. This is way way easier.

This is awesome because the dealership we got our Wrangler from said it would cost over $600 to replace both visors! Then they determined the labor wasn't gonna quite that much & it'll be only 400 something. I knew there had to be a more cost-effective solution, so I'm definitely ordering those parts!

Dad gum! That’s insane considering the visor assembly is usually between $60-150 and it takes less than 10 min to replace the entire thing.

Happened to me and my 2020 Wrangler. Now I am dealing with the supplemental battery. Got them both replaced under warranty but c'mon man! Its just a matter of time before the warranty expires and both the battery and visor die again. Thanks for posting this, glad I am not the only one

Yeah apparently this is a common issue and God knows when they get parts in to replace them plus you have to arrange the dealer visit. Another channel JeepinMo has a tutorial on the supplemental battery replacement.

I got my first set on Amazon, the ones that you used, thought I was golden. I found that the fix with only one screw actually will destroy the nut plate because there is side torque or uneven stress on it when the visor is swung to the side or not in the stowed position and now you not only have the same problem but now you have to fix the nut plate. I bought some aluminum ones with two screw holes that surrounds the entire visor rod for $24 bucks and haven't had the problem since. And yep, the Wranglers have the same issue. You would think that Jeep would address the issue, such an easy fix but nope.
