Forgive my misspeak: 1/4 mile in 11.6 sec with a TOP SPEED of 180 mph.

That's alright, Steve. A Jeep with a Hellcat V8 will get you jacked up.

You say that I would leave a Corvette owner in the dust the Corvette 0 to 60 2.9 seconds in an automatic With a quarter-mile time of 10.95 at 127 mph and the manual does it an 11.2 not quite as fast but close
@stevehammes6 жыл бұрын
You're right. Wouldn't be like leaving behind a Fiesta or something. Just trying to draw up a comparison.

@@Holcomb837 but the corvette doesnt have the grip that the jeep has...so while 0-60 is faster on corvette, the tires are smoking which means the jeep launches ahead because of the AWD...which means steve hammes is right in his comparison

Hello ! Many blessings and if I would like very much, I am a retired former correctional officer and I survived Hurricane Maria when I hit them in Puerto Rico, I love the SUV with a huge potential and a sound that hairs but, I can not have it for me pension is low but, I trust God I can have it sometime! Many blessings and caution to keep watching your videos and here I will always be okay 🇵🇷😉

I would like in metallic gray and inside in dark brown and rings in blacks, or in black and interior in tan and black rings, I have an F 150 5.4 L 4x4 of 1997, it was damaged of the transmission since the changes do not apply when it accelerates does not want to keep throwing them and because I do not have money I can not fix it!

I know the Trackhawk is nearly $100k. But like you said, this Jeep undercuts price wise via its competition - Porsche Cayenne Turbo (the top V8 or they’ll come up something awesome) an Mercedes AMG GLE with the insane V8 and BMW X5M.

I know it’s a year later, but yes they are great. They feel soft and crappy at first, but then you find out quickly that they stop the heavy vehicle extremely well. I wasn’t expecting ceramic brake feel, but wish it had better feel than it does. The Germans and Jags have way better feel for their models at the same price point.

180 mph at quarter mile doesn't seem correct. Chrysler continues to be the least reliable among the three American carmakers.

Steve, you reviewed the 2014 SRT Jeep. 100k is a lot to spend on any car/truck. Is there a huge gap in performance and value when you compare the trackhawk to the 2014 SRT Jeep. A 2014 pre-owned SRT Jeep can be acquired for 38k with decent mileage. What are your thoughts?

I'm in the same boat, just test drove a 2016 SRT and it was extremely fast off the line and almost identical interior. If you have the money the blown 6.4 has got to be top of the list

Hello .. Thanks great review .. Just one question what about the stability of the car ?? Is it stable in the high speed and in the turns ? I owned jeep Srt8 2009 it is the worst car ever i used ( not stable in road ever ) Hope to hear from you.

If you just talked about this car every week, that would be cool. If it had three rows, and you could fake the MPG readout to fool your wife, I'd be tempted to the point of existential crisis. I need to seriously explore--with a professional--why I so badly want this next to my Kia Soul EV in the driveway. Thanks for a fun review of a simply insane vehicle!
