hey, great work done there. made it myself too but the problem is I broke the inner spindle and I was wondering if you could help me find a new one or a way to fix it without removing the dashboard. thanks!

Horia Lisovschi i think that in your situation the only solution applicable is to fix the two doors to move togheter using the outer spindle. You had to lost the two indipendent zone.

+lucaviganet i did that and the problem that occurred is that its turning from cold to hot like 3 times and then it stops working (the outer motor) getting stucked on hot or cold. the thing I've done now is a screw to hold the blend doors to blow only hot air. best regards

Alty this fix is for the cold / hot air problem. If your problem is the flow air trough the vent, this is not the case.

I have a 99 GC limited with the dual zone AC and I checked my AC area, I only have one plug for the motor harness, and it connects to the motor with a bright blue plastic cap. Should I have the temp sensor wire? The jeep was owned by a bunch of idiots before me so I'm curious if they did some kind of crap job on it.

After removing the broken doors why not replace them with authentic ones instead of using rivets, drills and foam and trying to replicate them?

You idiot....the entire dashboard is just one big hunk of plastic. I'm positive those little doors will be the least of your problems it there's a fire.

What if I just take the doors out, will hot air reach the windshield. I don't care about blocking the heater core to use AC.
