Loving the restoration of it! I've found a really cheap '86 Grand Wag for only $3500. Seems in decent condition but the seats are also cracked. I've been trying to scavenge for all money possible to save up for it!

'bout time... J/K You know me. THAT JEEP guy. And all JEEP guys know the "make it rain" portion of your video. JEEP --> Just Empty Every Pocket. The big thing most Waggy owners look for also is the headliner. Got that covered yet. Phunny...Covered Yet. And fixing the stuff like the trim. Well, I fall back to Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. Trust in it and it will never fail you.

We bought an '89 Wagoneer a couple years ago. Right now I'm rebuilding the engine, but the interior/exterior is next on the list. The window and door rubber seals are all cracked and useless, so it can't drive in the rain. Team Grand Wagoneer has a weatherstripping set, but it's over $800. Any suggestions on a cheaper alternative?

If you ever do another restore and you need interior work, try Faries Top And Trim in Shreveport. My family was in the auto business for over 50 years, and we used them all the time. They have some outstanding images of their work on their Facebook page. I remember when we would carry all our used cars up and have Landau half tops put on them to increase the value. It was a 70's thing. LOL

Hey Hampton, I noticed you have small children and I was wondering about car seats in the Wagoneer. My wife and I are liking to buy one but have concerns about how a car seat is secured. Do the middle bench seats have the tie down latches most modern cars have? Any info would be appreciated!

Samuel Bradburn my wife had it made custom with vinyl iron on stuff. I've thought about having some made to add to the other LAMP T-shirts, but I don't want to make a bunch and not sell any
@samuelbradburn38718 жыл бұрын
I designed one almost exactly like it last night. I would've had to order a minimum of 24 shirts though, I like it... but I don't like it enough to drop $350... If you design it, and have a link to the shirt in your videos, I'm sure they would sell in no time.

Great videos Hampton, I really enjoy watching the progress being made (and dreaming of a GW in my future)! I'd suggest looking into The Printful for t-shirts, they do print on demand, so no need for ordering and not selling (although I'd definitely buy one too!) For the trim that is giving you a problem, one thing that came to mind when I saw what was happening was maybe you should try treating it like crown molding and effectively "cope" the back side of the trim right where it miters there? Not sure if it would work, but that is what came to mind! Keep up the great work!

Use real wood. You like using wood....Problem solved. Use teak. it's used on very expensive yachts. In the end it will look better.
