Personally I think the 5.7 is probably perfect power to size. The 5.7 is what jeep puts in the 1500 Ram which is bigger than the JT. Jeep should make the 5.7 an option at least.

@@Exodus4x4 not downing your work. It's just not feasible for me for the cost , especially now that you can go buy a new jl with the 6.4 stock. I like your work and they aren't trashy like some guys do , I had my stuff coming for my swap before ever finding your videos and enjoyed your videos on it it wasn't an insult. I wasn't speaking on your cost I was mentioning in general it is an expensive thing and it's almost worth buying a truck to get the driveline and parts from mopar. You've also shared a lot of info on ls swaps and such and I really felt like your information was helpful for people looking at ls vs hemi. I guess the intention in my mind didn't hit the message appropriately so it looked like I was saying something negative.

Love your "telling you like it is" videos. I would like for you guys to do a Hamburger supercharger or a 5.7 Hemi for my Gladiator in the future. I do have the 5.7 Hemi in my 2019 Ram and love it. It is an eTorque version but it still has a awesome exhaust note from the factory. Love the 5.7 sound of your conversion but I would like it a little quieter. I have had enough of loud exhaust sounds in my other vehicles that I've owned.

I spent 6k for a L86 with a 8 speed with 5k miles on it added a whipple super charger for 6200$ 17k for a install included a atlas 2 transfer case camero fan large radiator and drive shafts run very cool for about 30k and gets it about 680 foot pounds of torque Have driven for 6k miles now with no issues very pleased with what I got for the money. And to get hell cat numbers is only a 3500 $ more k if I feel like I need that with heads cam and headers and a few other things

All out conversions are crate engines backed by a 3 year warranty. Single module, OEM quality throughout. There’s a reason I quit putting GM engines in Jeeps.

Na Motech out there in Vegas has a 20 bay garage and a year wait for a reason he’s got it down I drove mine 2000 miles home no issues Hey I’m not hating on your hemi swaps I know there easier. I just think there far over priced for what you get And it’s more Likely to see a broke down fiat hemi then a LT

Lol, Motech? How long have you had it? You’ll learn what everyone else with a Motech kit already knows. I’m not hating on you man, trust me. I just have a ton of experience dealing with them. I’ve had zero issues with the Hemis we’ve done but we’re constantly having the LS guy come back in because of issues. Hopefully the Gen5 stuff is better for you. Oh and just because a shop has 20 bays and wait list that long, doesn’t always add up to success.

Is there any way to swap a 6.4 and keep the manual or get a manual transmission that will work with the 6.4? Really want a v8 but my mom has a 392 with an auto trans and every time I drive it I just think how much more I'd enjoy having a manual lol. Also would really miss the manual in my JT.

If I was the supercharge my Gladiator, I would go with the Hamburger supercharger he did a while back. I would do that or a 5.7 Hemi.

Are 6.1’s even worth the trouble, or just go with the 6.4? I have a six speed scat pack and I dream of replacing the dookie bomb V6 in my 08 Wrangler with one.

6.4 is the way to go. I don’t even think there’s a kit anymore for the 6.1 and if there is, it wouldn’t be worth the trouble.

If you have a jeep already, and just want more zoom zoom, a 5.7 is worth. If you going off roading then I would go with the bigger engine and axles.

I have a 07 Jeep JK that had a 1 ton axle swap. My brother gave me his 11' Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7l hemi needs a lot of work but engine is fine. Would this 5.7l be good with the 1 tons or should i sell the truck and go for a 6.4l. Big difference would be the cost of having a free donor truck and having to buy everything and a 6.4l.

No problem with a 5.7 if you already got it. Mostly depends on if you think the 5.7 is worth fixing up, and if you think you want more power. Depending on gearing, the 5.7 will probably give you all the power you need

Bubba’s a 5:13 guy as he states in his other videos because guys go 37, then want 38’s and 40’s so he says save the money and just go 5:13. He did say 4:88 is perfect for 37’s if you can fight the urge to go bigger.

I have a 2023 gladiator and coming from a jeep 392 I’d like the same set up as my 392 on the gladiator can you folks give me your contact information I’m planning on doing a swap by this coming summer I’m in Northern California. I have a rock krawler 4.5 lift kit and it runs tall which I like, not sure what I would do about the front springs maybe put the diesel springs up front but I’m serious and would like to do the swap. I’d like to keep my stock Dana 44s but beef them up and in a perfect world I wish I could have that button to make the exhaust loud and quiet mainly for long trips, So basically I’m asking can it be done something similar to the factory 392 on my Rubicon jT 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Its not a base engine, its everything, wire harness, radiator, new transmission, new ECU, tune. About $16k for crate new motor and transmisson. The kit is about $14k all the accessories, parts, wire harness, ecm, tune, headers, exhaust, too much to list. Atleast 25-30 parts not including engine or trans
