Great video, loved the edits and how you put it all together, so good!!! I was shocked but happy to see the Bronco made it in another video 😊

Good stuff! I am about to upgrade to 37s or 38s and don't trust the Mopar reinforced tailgate, as I already see dust getting past the seals with 33s. I always thought about getting the spare off the hinges and locate it to the bumper, so you mentioning AEV was great! Praying for a speedy recovery, and hope to see you out on the trail soon! BTW just so you know your audience, I bought my 1st Jeep last year 2023 392, and have alot of upgrades, but looking to finalize some stuff before I buy them.

Wow a 392!! Ah yes... I think you will like the upgrade to the 37/38s... with the 392 I don't know if you will even need to re-gear. I am impressed with the AEV bumper. I've looked at so many, and although that one is a more complicated install, it is a really good design. We checked it out thuroughly at the expo in Oregon. Would love to see your setup.

C & K are sure happy dogs. Their joy makes us happier and might speed up one's recovery from injury. Maybe? You can check out LoD's bumper w/tire carrier regarding your rear bumper options. I've run mine over many of the same or similar trails for two years. It's been rock solid and will carry more weight than I'm willing to load back there. It's also pricey, but you'll only cry once. We live in the same area if you want a closer look at one.

Yeah the dogs definitely brighten your days. Defintely an incentive to recover so I can spend more time with them outdoors. Thanks for the info on the LoD bumper. I looked at that one in my research, but I haven't seen that aone in person. I'll have to find ya when I'm healed up well enough to check it out.

Great video! Giving me some ideas about removing my Bronco seats for my dogs. Also the awning too! I completely get it, it’s about the furry family members.

always enjoy your videos. I didn't see you mention diff breather tube extenders. I'm planning on getting the ARB unit when it's back in stock. Curious as to how you handled that and what you think of the ARB unit. Also, curious about why you didn't go with the AAL's fire extinguisher mount as you have their storage shelf. Maybe I just missed it. If not, where and how do you store your fire extinguisher(s)? FYI - the Goose Gear table has been great for me. No rattles. One of the bushings did squeak a bit when I opened and closed it but a little WD40 fixed that right up and it's been church mouse quiet since. I used that table every single day on my summer trip. And GG customer service was right on it when I emailed them so I can't say enough good things about them. But yes, all this stuff is very pricey.

When I installed the suspension i checked the diff breathers at full droop and they seemed fine, so I never added anyting there. I did purchase hose to extend them, but it wasn't needed. I'll bet a 4.5" suspension would be a differnt story though. The ARB unit itself has been fine so far...(knock on wood). I had heard rumblings of people having to service them, but we have had good luck so far. Regarding the AAL fire extringuisher mount - To be honest, I didnt even know they had one. I used the H3R ProLock quick release mount. There is a link to the installation video in the description if you want to check it out. I just purchased that when I bought the fire extinguisher from H3R. Good to know the Goose Gear is working out for ya. I never had a chance to compare the two in person.

I installed a battery system in the tub since I have drawer systems above it. I can send you some pics if you want.
@GoldensGoneWheelin3 ай бұрын
That would be great! I will ultimately need to pull the drawer system out when we eventually get around to changing the spare tire and bumper setup.

How many miles have you put on your Jeep? I bought mine 18 months ago and just crossed the 36K mile mark. I've never had a vehicle for this many miles.

That is Alvord Desert in South Eastern Oregon. Very similar to Black Rock Desert in Nevada. Both are huge playas.

Why did you choose Patagonia over Nitto or Mickey Thompson Tires?
@GoldensGoneWheelin3 ай бұрын
There were several factors at the time. Cost, weight, size, noise and overall performance. There are only a few tires that are offered in a 38x13.5 R17. The Patagonia was the lightest, but was also a really good price. Several people in my area were using the tire including the jeeps at Metalcloak, and they were performing really well. The Nitto and the Mickey Thompson were both heavier, more expensive. The Mickey Thompson did not offer the right size. The Nitto heavier and much louder on the road.

Enjoyed the video and grateful for the good tips. I’m of the opinion that what we sacrifice by having limited cargo space, we make up for in superior capability. I Love my Rubicon and wouldn’t trade it for anything else. 🏕
