35th! Hard work has paid off with more vehicles than you can drive or repair! Would 40s ruin StepChild’s on-highway manners? Chris always seems so easy going and cheerful, even when working hard. After watching the end when Brittany climbs back into the SideChick, I think her suspension has the most articulation! LiteBriteNationFlexesTheFleet!

Kevin, it’s not using all the rear travel because you have a sway bar. It is adding force from the other side that is drooping.

Very impressive built. The other major difference between the Stepchild and the Sidechick is rear steer not that the Stepchild needs one. Stepchild is definitely the best built rock crawler jeep. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, we saw on a couple videos ago that forklift articulation doesn't really show what the real world does. It passed the forklift test but things broke when articulated in the Real World. Great Video.

Why aren’t there 42’s on the stepchild yet..yeah I’m spending your money ! Seeing the flex on the Jeep with how level it stayed and the stability looked planted Chris has got to feel like he just about nailed the setup ? I’ve mentioned the anti squat a couple times because my TJ has a similar problem on steep climbs and I’m interested in how you guys tune that out.

I thought at one point you were going to run out of lift with the forklift. Ok, we probably have a “stock Jeep”. Well it isn’t like it came from the factory. We put Rubicon suspension, wheels, and tires on Christine’s Gladiator Sport. She now has a Rubicon light. 🤪🤪

My Jk had 60" on the fork lift before the rebuild. Curious how much more I'll have after redoing the rear shock geometry. 14" front and 16" rear coilovers and could still do 100 down the highway on 42s.

Hay Brittany you probably should drain all the water 💧 out of the tires on the side chick because winter is around the corner and you wouldn't want any damage to tires or rims. I'm only throwing out this as an idea 💡

The Step Child needs to have a sway bar disconnect for the front. The last two episodes have showed you lifting a front wheel with almost no articulation on the front compared to the rear. Try a longer arm or maybe a smaller dia bar itself. Just step too 46 " and try keep up to us in BC.Canada. you have the axels and engine , just need to add some rcv's and 46's. Ride too the Dark side. CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h.

What was the POP on the last video. Was it the hub slipping or unlocking? I had a Warn Super Hub on a jeep that when bound up backing up a hill till the back tires were 90% above the fronts, unlocked the right one that sounded like I snapped an axle. Moved it back flat, re locked the hub in and never had another problem.
@LiteBrite
@LiteBrite Жыл бұрын
No, it was the front e-locker skipping teeth like we suspected (we swap it out & show everything in a future video). The Dynatrac hubs on the Stepchild are the strongest on the market, I don’t think they’ve ever had a failure.
