Or the cat is bad most likely but you gotta make it go lean and rich to test to see if it's lying or not

Just curious, both B1 & 2 ,S2 are showing irregular voltage. Do you think that could be caused by clogged Cats? My 07 JK gave me similar readings and kicked P0052 and P0158, I replaced all my O2 sensors, didn't fix the problem. I then replaced my PCM, no help. I ended up fixing the problem by replacing the Cats. Crazy and expensive repair.

Wayne Wilson Hi Wayne. I'm glad that you got it fixed! I just replaced my catalytic converters last weekend too because I got P0430 (Catalyst System Efficiency). One of my converters had broken up and that code is thrown once the efficiency drops by just 5%. Does your Jeep burn oil? That would have been my only clue that your cat was plugged up unless you saw a lack of power too. I'm glad that you got it fixed!

Just curious Aaron, since this was 2 years ago, since you replaced the cats did the problem ever come back? Usually when cats fail its because of another underlying issue. I need to replace my cats too to get my jeep to pass for inspection. But like you said, it's pretty pricey and I'd hate to spend that kind of money just to have to replace the cat's again.

@@mariokampo sounds like you have the infamous cracked exhaust manifold , take off the 2 bolts to remove the heat shield and check to see. It will be evident right away if its cracked or not. Careful with those bolts tho

I have a question for you guys what if it's an EGR code and O2 sensor bank 2 do you think it could be something else?
@jaecenwhite25904 жыл бұрын
It's a bit late for you, but FYI for anyone finding your comment - every Bank 2 low error I've seen on 3.8 JKs has been due to an exhaust leak or leaky exhaust gasket allowing air (and therefore O2) in to the exhaust flow ahead of the cat. Check for leaks first before you mess with the sensors.
