Looks good I would not have ground down to bare metal to weld to that. I would just drill through two of them and weld it. Put a copper plate on the backside. It’s a lot easier to fill the hole.

Is the torque box easy to remove completely when doing the pans? All the spot welds on the torque box is making me want to go the safe t cap route for ease

Wow! Im about to do this this summer. Im replacing a rotted out frame est fixing my floor and torque box. Did it fit nicely afterward on the frame?

It fit perfectly on the frame! You just have to take your time and double check yourself to make sure everything is lined up before you start tacking the torque box on.

How hard was it to get the body off?

You gotta spray weld primer on them grinds. Your asking for rust again.
