Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Aftermarket Keyless Entry Installation

How to install a keyless entry to your Jeep Wrangler unlimited. Tools required: screw driver, drill, Dremel or some type of cutter for the plastic, T25 torque bit, 7mm socket, panel removal tools, a hand crank clip removal tool, and a lot of patience. @@waynesalter3540 So I bought a kit that came with a module (wireless receiver). I ran all the wires behind the front console. I wanna say the module was under the steering wheel panel.

I'm thinking of getting a 2017 wrangler unlimited sport.. it's the perfect in every way except it doesn't have power windows or keyless entry. My husband is okay with car things but not great. Would this be super difficult to do?

Honestly unless you are decent with tool I wouldn’t try it. Sorry for the long wait. Hopefully you got the Jeep even without the powered stuff they are so fun.

Where do you connect the actuator wires to?

Mine came with a controller that they all connected to.

Collin Clayton I put the control module behind and above the pedals. There's plenty of room back there.

region015 the actuators that I used is no longer available on Amazon. But any actuators will work.

How many relays are you using and how do you wire them ? Thank you

Frank Maciel it came with all the parts but I do believe it was just one relay. It was prewired.
