Hey I learned something. I need to get you to come check out the YJ I just got for next to nothing rust free only problem is someone thought they were all electrician and butchered up the wiring so they couldn't get it to run again. So I purchased the engine wiring harness from dead Jeep for a little over $100 dollars and I'm thinking with what I learned you being so good at removing those fenders that I would just get you to come by the house and remove mine for me because I learned today your the man. Once you get them off it would make it really easy for me to do the wiring harness hehe. On a serious note I did learn a couple of tricks to add to my list and much appreciated the video. Keep on rocking it!!!

Go with the fully smooth and flush with the hood look, I see a lot of the 3" inch tube fenders and as cool as they look its getting pretty common, as for the hood latches on a smooth look maybe some small gusset/mount tab just big enough for the hood hold down clamps (angle or round the front and rear of the tabs so they wont catch branches or tree limbs)

I agree. Im really leaning toward the flushing the fenders with the hood. I really like the fenderless look. If I flushed the tubing with the hood it would keep that look. My cousin and I buried a Toyota truck to the top of the tires once. Yea .. it took a big tractor to pull us out!! That truck was so messed up by the time we got it out. Thanks for dropping in reinforcing what I was thinking with the fenders. Also a cool story to boot!!!! Have a great day!!

Power Addicts - FixJeeps.com - Jeep, car and motorcycle tips Hello. I got a 95 yj that I’m currently redoing ( trying to). I watch your videos which has helped greatly. I am trying to find a video on removing side body panels? I got the fenders going now, how tough is it to remove the sides? I don’t have the ability to remove the whole tub or I would do that. Any help would be appreciated.

So how long did it take to do all of this? I'm replacing my fenders all together with OEM replacements and I'm just curious how long it would take to do this.

They are really easy to take off and on. I would say you can have them both swapped in less than 2 hours. Barring no rusted broken bolts that is.

Power Addicts - FixJeeps.com - Jeep, car and motorcycle tips took me longer than that for one but that was also my fault. But I got it done that day. Thanks for Filipino and posting this video. You were a big help.
