Thanks for doing this trail in a stock JL. Most of the other channels have made some really sweet upgrades to their JL's (coil over suspension, Dana 60 Axel's or hemi v-8 motors), but since I don't have those mods makes it hard for me to compare how/if I can do it in my Jeep.

When you were referring to the vehicle roll over degrees is that just jeep or universal?

Its per vehicle. Most vehicle will rollover between 45 and 55 degrees. Modern vehicles tend to be on the higher side but the more you put on top the lower that number goes.

I have a 2 door JLR stock. Is there an advantage to having a shorter wheel base for these types of trails? Aside from less chance of high centering.

The 2-door does a whole lot better than the 4-door on this trail. Much each to maneuver around the rocks.

No, but you will want to be very careful on Miller. But you should be sitting higher. FYI - I didn't hit mine at all, but it is tight.

Nice video. Did you disconnect sway bars?

I usually disconnect the sway bars on every road. I am a firm believer in doing the same thing for every run. Thus air down to the same PSI, and disconnect the sway bars. (In the JLU, I just hit the sway bar disconnect button.)

Thanks for the reply. I am probably going to hit this trail on Sunday with my 92 4Runner 4x4. The thing is, it’s open diff. I have manually disconnect sway bars.

@@josephvital You will have fun, and probably struggle a little. The trail was pretty hard, but we were able to get through it without using the lockers once.

We didn't use the lockers the whole weekend. Thus both parts of the trail (Miller Jeep Trail and Lockwood Creek Trail). Is there a question I can maybe help you with?

Would a Raptor make it? I have the impression that truck is for high speed off road and no so much technical off road. How about a Colorado ZR2? It’s smaller than the Raptor so I’m thinking it’s better in the technical stuff

The Raptor will be a bit wide up on Miller. You would probably need sliders to protect the sides. But a ZR2 would probably be small enough and a little spotting and they should get through.

I can and other people I know do this trail in a sport. Airing down to the right tire pressure will help you get over most of obstacles that stand in front of you. Disconnect your sway bar for extra articulation which will help in places. Past that, learning to pick a good line can really help you get further.

How was it wheeling with doors and air conditioner?

@@gonzalopayan5619 It is different. But it was nice having climate control. I was told it was hot outside. Overall I like not having doors, but having A/C is pretty close to making up for it.
