it's my understanding due to Covid-19 they had to use a lot of CGI, they only had 3 days of filming in Louisiana then had to go to the UK because of Covid, which to me doesn't make sense because I heard it was worse in the UK but whatever! I think if they could have finished up in Louisiana it may have came out better but that's a maybe folks!

i saw a special screening of this film and it was prefaced by the director talking about how it was a difficult shoot due to COVID and a passion project for him and he was grateful for the people who came out to watch. it was like he knew his film was messes up and apologised in advance. I just was like, eh, I came out to see an Amazon direct to streaming horror flick but whatever, I at least got the dubious cachet of seeing this thing on a screening.
