You could keep the second X31 as a spare parts machine, in case something breaks down in your main unit. I am surprised there are no available docking units on their own on eBay, here in the UK there were plentiful the last time I checked. I even bought a brand new one for like £20, unfortunately the speakers turned out not working in it, so that supposedly good deal turned out to be not that great.

There are just a handful, but they are sold "as is" and are almost half what I paid for the whole laptop.

Back in the day, we used to call that style of dock that clipped on to make a thick laptop with more drives a “media slice”

hey man i have a question do you think you can overclock the monitor on the hp elitebook 2570p at all ? cus im highly highly considering getting one but if the monitor dosent oc that would be a dealbreaker thanks in advance
