Just got a 2011 patriot but do you have any idea how big of a tire I can put on a 16 or 17 size rim without lift and not have to hammer the pinch weld or cut anything out.... I am replacing the stock 17 rims but havent decided what size to go for yet. But I do want to put some AT tires because of snow in my area during winters my daily commute is like 2 miles so I'm not worried about road noise..

safe size on 17's is 225/65r17's a 16" would be 226/70r16. (or as close to that as you can get, not sure if that's a common tire size). go to www.jeeppatriot.com/forums/suspension-and-tires.16/ for way more details.

Any tricks for removing inboard upper control arm bolt? I could not fit anything in there and couldn't get any torque to remove

Were you able to keep the grease zerks on the adjustable end of the new control arm? I had my lift installed at a mechanic shop and there wasn't enough room. Even if there was room for it, the positioning of the zerk on the adjustable side of the new control arm would make it impossible to connect a grease gun. Not very good engineering

Did you have an issue with the bolts on the control arm? The ones on my jeep patriot 2010 dont fit.

No, This video is almost 4 years old, and I honestly don't remember it, The only problem I remember having is I had to take apart more things than I expected to in the rear.

where did you order your rear upper control arms (boomerangs) from? those tube style adjustable ones

I know this is from a long time ago. But with the rro did you have any problems, besides the running? Some people say it shakes in the 0-15 mph range. Also If I do it I would only one or two size bigger tires than what I have know. Which is 205/30-35/r17 I believe so I would probably go 235/55-65/r17 if you think that wouldn't rub?

235/65r17 is a fine tire size to go with, with spacers I had no issues with my 245/65r17's, just before spacers. as far as vibration, yes I got some when I was turning and accelerating aggressively, such as when leaving my neighborhood onto a major street. When I first got my lift kit, I just went to a big o tire to get my alignment done. They just put it back to factory specs, which is wrong I had to take it to an off road place, and after they were done laughing at me, they set the alignment correctly, and that got rid of 95% of all my vibration.

+Juan Maria Cruz Martinez There are no options really other than Mopar, or OEM style suspension. the lift kit is simply a spacer kit that goes on top of the suspension.
