In 2015, after coming home from watching the new Star Wars movie, we turned the TV on to the biggest crowning debacle in history! I was elated that the woman from the country of my birth had won, but felt so sorry for Colombia. As a kid, watching Miss Universe was a tradition in my family since Gloria Díaz won the first Miss Universe crown in 1969. My most memorable pageant was in 1973 when we watched Margie Morán win the crown in Greece. I was able to stay up late to watch it because Miss Universe was held in the summers back then. The more I watch snippets of the 2015 contestants’ performance, the more I see why Pia deserved to win. 👑🇵🇭

tbh, this miss universe 2015 just proves how miss columbia didn't really deserve to be the miss universe. after the coronation, she's been posting about how she should be the winner, and every judge panel saw that post. there's an interview of one of the panel judge and hated ariadna's behavior. so no, she was not sport about it. you can check perez hilton interview in abc news. i also hate most of the candidates coz they blamed Pia back then. the only ones who actually defend pia till now was miss usa and miss australia. but they're okay now, i believe 3 years ago, pia and ariadna were together in some fashion project.

This year they have been reunited at Paris fashion week. They're okay 😊 Ariadna still has a bitter taste but we cannot blame her that was the most shameful event of her life.

Did you know that Pia's blue gown wasn't supposed the gown for the final? The national director of MUPH at that time have chosen a different gown for her but Pia didn't like it. She didn't follow it but instead choose to wear that blue gown.

Omg. I wish you can also watch MU 2012.. I still believed that PH deserved the crown that year.. What they meant on about 5th yr. On top 10 is that PH placed in top 10 on 5th consecutive time from 2010 to 2015 and it actually continued until 2022

Pia's preliminary gown was just a replacement since her gown from the Philippines didn't make it to the US on time due storm delay, flights were canceled. Good thing there were filipino designer based in the US so he sent his creations for pia to choose
