I have a Suzuki Carry 2017 manual 5 speed. I start in 2nd gear always. 1st gear I am told is for low gear 4wd. Nice to see you got great condition trucks. Enjoy the adventure!

Oh that’s awesome man! Yeah we have an “EL” gear when we activate 4WD but yeah I never use first gear haha it’s great!

So what happened after one of your went in (with the TWIC)? It looks like you talked to someone, then drove right back out of the gate and they drove your Kei truck to you to load outside of the gate. Is this what happened? So if they do this, why do you even have to go past the gate and deal with the TWIC thing for like 20 seconds? We have a truck coming in next month at this same port and are trying to learn the ropes. Thanks for your video!

Yeahhhhh lol so ridiculous haha you can literally just walk in with a twic card or a rep and the little office is literally right past the guard gate. We first had to call and get the ROD number from the port and then give that to the guy in the shack and they drive it back out to your truck. We just made it more complicated because it was our first time 😂 so yeah it’s a very easy process otherwise! Hope that helps! Thanks for asking! Did you go to the local customs office to get paper work stamped??

Yeah a mile from the port of Tacoma the customs office and licensing office are in the same parking lot

Haha none taken but yeah agreed the tie down job on the first one wasn’t very good at all. Next time we will have a better trailer! The U-Haul one was so narrow getting it up the ramp it had no room for error 😂

@@OhKeiLife plenty of room once you got past the opening it seems. now they are street legal in Texas but my Tax's just went up $6000 this year so i wont be buying one anytime soon. but my question is Why the hell would u haul or anyone build a trailer like that. if i do get one and have to trailer it i will make sure not to get one like that.

Yeah the opening had like maybe an inch on both sides if that. Yeah we heard that they are street legal in Texas now that’s great! But yeah my total at the end of the day for everything was $5200 not horrible. But yeah never again using a trailer like that. Only a flat bed trailer 😂
