I could hear Hermie's heart breaking during the entire interview. His dream of turning NASCAR into WWE just doesn't seem to jive with what Jeff sees from his side. Imagine that? Good to hear some sensible talk on this channel from time to time.

All my older buddies are not interested in the “Stage” racing. We aren’t sports guys, we are car guys who are not into all the manufactured drama of The Chase.

Jeff nailed it about the house hold names the media needs to cover more about the drivers not just a few or wait til a certain crash or incident comes along a lot fans especially new ones won't ever know who some of these drivers are it's sad that the loss of sponsors over the years hasn't helped much either by getting behind there drivers showing more support I love nascar always will hate it or love it but enjoy racing as much as we can because you never know when thing's can come to an end

Kenny is a very smart man. I wished NASCAR let the teams pick what rear gear to run. Instead NASCAR told them to run.

I was a hard core NASCAR fan from 2001 to 2019. I stopped attending races and watching it on TV because I strongly disliked the stage racing and the playoff format. Maybe I'm just an old stick in the mud, but rewarding season long consistency to crown a champion was just perfect. I'd be back in a split second if the stage racing alone was eliminated, but no big deal if it never happens. It's on NASCAR's shoulders to find new fans who were like me and bought races tickets every year and bought the merch and supported all the tracks in my area.

I am tired of hearing about the NASCAR vs F1 talk all the freaking time. NASCAR are not F1, and nor should it try to be like F1.

Jeff Burton's comments about not needing driver fights. I tend to agree although NASCAR's 1st broadcast was notable because of the fight at the end. To end the fights is simple. For purposeful contact by one driver toward another driver after the checkered flag has fallen, car-to-car or person-to-person , the offending driver is SUSPENDED for the next upcoming race (with no appeals) and any personal money that he earned that day is forfeited. If they want to fight, agree to meet somewhere off track and go at it. No publicity, no video, no pictures and no talk about it at the next race. We would just see them the next week with a black eye, swollen lip, or whatever happened to them. It shouldn't take more than one time for that driver to change his tune and make the other drivers think twice about it.

They need a show on during the evening that talks about the drivers. They need to spend time talking to the older drivers an the new drivers. Promote the New Era of NASCAR. Cause with out the promoting the drivers theirs no way of bringing new fans over from other forms of Auto Racing or other forms of racing period.

I think the new car is great and works great for the super speedways but for road and short tracks they need that car to be lighter so the handling and agility makes it quicker. The cars are built like TANKS and are safer than they have ever been, so I think on slower speed tracks they should have 500 - 700 lbs shaved off, why not? There are other race cars out there that are lighter (like TransAm series). They have two separate cars in NASCAR anyhow so why not improve the short track action?

I was a big NASCAR fan. Jeff Burton is one of the good guys. I loved it when he won. The reason that i'm not a NASCAR fan is because it's too tricked up. Stage racing is a joke. The playoffs is what ruined it for me. Back in the day fans went to the race to see their guy race to win. Not even the Daytona 500 doesn't mean as much as the playoff races. It's just stupid. Before the playoff system the best team won the Championship every year. Now it's just the hottest driver in the last 10 races. Sorry boys, I'm out.

5:09 All Jeff did was ironically prove that they could’ve built the Next Gen to be just like the non-common template Gen 4. Cars that sat off the ground, had factory body panels and floorboards, production engine blocks, skinny tires, no gear rules, no overpriced fuel injection, no tapered spacer, I can go on. NASCAR ratings keep falling and I don’t see anyone bragging about streaming. This all without talking about the failures that have come from the playoffs, stage racing, overtime, etc. people have just walked away from the sport.

NASCAR is trying to force diversity instead of getting it naturally. The next gen car might as well be IROC. NASCAR should just bring the cars to the track and give them to the teams every weekend. This is why nascar is declining no inovation

NASCAR doesn't have the driver star power in numbers as it has in 70s 80s 90s and early 2000s . They also don't have the superstar crew chiefs and they took away too much creativity from the teams

I can not relate to NASCAR as it is today reason 1.Where is GM Goodwrench-----nowhere even the number is NOT where it needs too be to not get me started on the tire size. The car it self fine do not have a problem with the car.My 1984 Corvette had two tire sizes i am going with thicker tire because i feel like it will ride smoother not like a western wagon low profile tire do not give and they wear out faster than than a 14 in or even 15 in .NASCAR is a alien to me can not relate too it .The only sport I can relate too is the NHRA there I said it.I know John Forces green house looks like the Ford mustang but that's what rodding is about .The last nail would be letting Tesla in NASCAR I have said enough I will go now you have a good weekend Herman and Jeff Burton.
