I've been thru this and we set up a schedule, but if one of us needed to be gone during our scheduled time, our first offer to watch the kids was to the other parent. Only if they were busy would we find a sitter. We also spent holidays together at his mom's house (neutral territory, but still together). We were very respectful of one another's privacy, because at the end of the day we both knew that the other parent really loved our kids and would do the best for them (even if it wasn't the way we would do things). Removing Gage's access to cameras was your prerogative, no ex can expect that level of access once they've moved out. In the beginning when you're promising to keep things amicable and all light and breezy its great in theory BUT 99% of the time, particularly in the first year of separation it's impossible! You can have the best break up but there's still going to be emotional pain. I don't understand why Gage is visiting Monroe at your home? If you've decided that that's your home and you're staying put then he doesn't need to be there. He should be collecting her and doing whatever he has planned then she should be staying overnight at his home. She'd quickly understand Daddy Jeff's home and Daddy Gage's home where she'd have her own room and belongings at each, simple! Get on a schedule but at least try to set the schedule up between yourselves before going down the legal route. That can create conflict and of course cost thousands of dollars. If either party has an issue sticking to the schedule that's when you need to bring in attorneys. Jeff the one thing that you're doing that's not great is having a new partner around this quickly. You can't possibly know at this stage whether this is going to be a long term thing or not. The last thing either of you want to do is introduce Monroe to a whole list of "Uncles" throughout her life. That's just nasty. When you do know that things are getting serious you need to communicate that to each other and pre warn them, look this persons going to be around our daughter it's just common curtesy Jeff. The one thing though that had be doubled over laughing Jeff how can you drag Gage for his mood swings??? Have you watched the show back? Do you know who's unpredictable and moody? Stop it!!!! In fact cut out any of the negatives on air it will work out much better for you in the long run!

Jeff and Gage need to do parallel parenting and stick to a strict visitation schedule so they are not in direct contact. All *necessary* communication would be transmitted through an intermediary and Gage should never be in Jeff's house. It will completely alleviate the stress and tension; that is in Monroe's best interest. It is not good for Monroe to be exposed to this stress. It also stresses out Gage and Jeff, which is not helpful.
