@@gettinyolked we have had ours for a few months now and it really is such a great investment. One of our cats took about a month to start using it. He is quite skittish.

They WILL and so will YOU! USE clumping cat litter my daughter said no problems ! Ours is a refurbished one ,had it almost 2 years we have 5 cats ,they love it too we set ours in the living room overnight and put our scent all over it and inside so the 5 cats could inspect it at their leisure ! No problems ! The cats use it then watch it dump ! But I think they had rather con me out of a few treats ! ❤🙀👵🏻😱🖖🏼👽🐲👍🏻

Great review. I bought the litter robot 3 just over three years ago and it worked great for about two years. Then I shifted to bulk cat litter that I got from Petco, and then everything went to crap. The cheaper cat litter created dust that got into everything and reaked havoc on the sensors which would cause it to stop working. Not good with two cats. It was becoming unreliable. I was having to take the whole thing apart to clean the sensors. It wasn’t just covering the sensors it was getting in behind the sensors where the electronics were. It’s not working again so out of frustration I shifted back to a traditional litter box, yuck! Hopefully the 4 model does a better job with dust. My bust using cheap litter. I’m thinking of getting the 4 model. I remember the joy!

Great video. I have a L4 and have had no issues. Always use a clear bag or white bag to insure no issues when you need to reset after emptying waste tray. Also I have a litter trap mat to end issue of litter out of L4. Thanks

I've had the litter robot 3 for several years now. Life changer for me. Litter trapping mat with honeycomb design, it's a two-piece mat. Is a good solution to capture most of the litter. I also use a large upright storage container for the cat litter, along with a big scoop. Makes refilling easier.

It looks like you used the clump and seal slide litter? Did this litter work well with the litter robot?

Please, someone tell me how I can order accessories . My litterrobot 4 lacks carbon traps or traps for decoder liners…. AM over cleaning to overcome odors ….where can I go? Amazon has carbon filters but no holders…..it’s been a year ….. Thank you .

I got the LR3 in November. It had crapped out by January. Whisker offered to send a new base and power supply. I agreed but only contingent on them restarting my 90 day money back guarantee. They refused and offered 30 days. I told them that the first one lasted 30 days.... sent it back. I haven't received a refund yet. With all the videos for "fixes" and "work arounds" it seems to be a lemon. For the price 90 days should be a no brainer. Maybe the LR4 has worked out some of the bugs... maybe you got lucky. Best wishes. I seem to be looking at having to sue them to get my money back.

Any issues with your cat not turning around in the litter box? I saw some reviews that it the cat doesn't face head out then the pee will get under the front guard and be an issue.

I've had no issues with that at all. My cat just took to it knowing what to do.

The smell is very faint. Nothing as bad as the litter box was. It's a big improvement!

My cats spend 5 minutes after they poop scratching the side of the plastic litter box. That vinyl liner would last a bout a week before they shredded it! No Way Jose!

My cat's a heavy duty scratcher of the litter. I worry that she would scratch so hard that it would tear the plastic liner.

The liner for the LR3 is VERY durable (my mom has it for her 3). My LR4 arrives later today so I will comment on this if it’s thinner but I highly doubt it will be.

We bought a refurbished litter Robot Almost 2 two years ago at a lower ? Price ! Has /is working as advertised ! Maybe better ! Got 5 cats and they use it then watch it dump ! 😂 asked my daughter what she thinks ? She said she loves it easy to dump and or clean ! My brother said he and his wife ( my sister-in-law law is such a wonderful person !
