Texas soils mentioned @2:20. According to the Texas Department of Agriculture, there are more than 1,300 soil types in Texas! Theoretically any of them could be the basis for an organic farm. However, it's my understanding that the criteria for organic farm certification have nothing to do with soil quality. All the more reason to add this to the standards for any organic farm certification. The gentlemen in this video, and others like Dr. Robert Faust, are essential for bringing awareness and action to the need for soil quality that delivers nutrients to our foods and, therefore, our bodies.

May I suggest also that people who are upgrading to better equipment because of growing success, could possibly sell their original old equipment for cut price, so people like myself can be a part of this kickstarter process and contribute something in return.

How do you patent an organism unless its gmo? Didn't think you could patent non man made/modified?🤔

I held my tongue on that one - I'm deeply anti-GMO and patenting life... THOUGH I do respect and even can value some of their research if it's in a lab, highly focused, and controlled properly.

My understanding of e.coli - how they are using it in the GMO world opened my eyes to how it works in the natural world for example.

@@ThePermacultureStudent I'm torn on the labeling of GMO. According to the ones in charge inoculating corn with bacillus thuringiensis is considered GMO. While technically it is genetically modified, it's done using the soil food web practices. Is it not? Look up bt corn.
