I was not allowed to go to Rock and Roll concerts when I was a kid. My best friend and I had a plan to sneak out and see ELO in 1982 in Bloomington, Indiana (Indiana University campus) but it didn't work out. In 2018, my 24-year-old son was working in Detroit and I got tickets and flew up and took him to this show. I am so glad I got to finally see ELO and do it with my son!
