Radical culture, a black man arting about an ancient white classical artist in a high culture gallery. Jeff Mills has totally possessed my interest in the last few days since stumbling onto his 909 performances and then enjoying his interviews and philosophy.

Radical only for a binary mindset - There is no black & white in an un biased perception of art.

Jeff has a lot to say with his art which is through the roof no doubt. But he cannot crush peoples identity and fun to his point of view for 'not listening enough' as well as for being young. Although I haven't done a million plus gigs and experienced that. Anyhow Mr. Mills need to get softer a bit - don't make yourself saidly missed with the power of vision and imagination.

+Balint Nogrady Jeff has a right to express his views just like anyone else but he has the credentials to back it up plus his millions of gigs and experiences. In fact it was quite inspiring as he spoke of freedom to express and change the landscape and not go with the status quo

Hey ofcourse he has. You are missing my point. We talk next to each other.

anyone else think this guy is quite snobby?
@vltruan4 жыл бұрын
It’s a four year old comment, but no not really. He seems quite humble actually looking at this interview from a four year old KZbin video. He’s very very articulate about everything, cool dude.
@Cl4rendon3 жыл бұрын
"Vain" or "Vanity" might be the right word, but he`s not snobby in my view - Jeff might not have this scruffy attitude like some other colleagues but scruff came alot out of his sound - So alot of compensation there - He articulates himself in an intellectual way which people might mistake for "snobby" but he`s actually real down to earth and honest in what he does.

because he is articulate?

Not at all. Artists don't have to act like thugs, effeminate men or goofballs all the time.

another foolish thing of Mills, like his music in the last years.
