Greetings from Andalucia: Well done rider Jeff Sanders! And congratulation to this very well trained horse. Without this companion, this permormance would have been impossible.

I've seen a lot of different types of riding and done many myself. I have to say this is about as impressive as it gets. Soft, smooth, supple, engaged, accurate, fluid. I'm running out of adjectives. I'm a pretty darn good rider and this blows me out of the arena. Hands down fabulous.

Good job, I've seen your other videos. I haven't seen complicated 'not so well done' things. What I saw was smooth, effective, beautiful work. I especially enjoy your general style, I find it to be a very esthetic way to manage your buckaroo daily work with a more vaquero style trained horse, and your hat represents precisely that I find ! I am myself French and US, lived and trained in Andalucia for years, and I am discovering with great awe the buckaroo/vaquero style. Thanks for your work and your videos. Very inspiring. L.

That was lovely. I just watched your latest video, thank you for posting. I wanted to leave a comment but noticed you have the comments turned off. If you didn’t do that on purpose, make sure your video is not set as being made for kids. If it’s made for kids, comments will automatically be disabled. Have a great weekend!

If the instruction was in English would have loved to hear what the instructor was saying. Would love to learn how to ride with a garrocha. Beautiful.

Love the pant length. American Cowboys are overly modest about their ankles

Nicely done but your foot position were all off. Obviously you are not used to riding the Spanish style. When you ride a doma vaquera saddle with heavy spade stirrups, you DO NOT put your heels down. Your whole foot rests on the spade stirrups and your heels are at level with the ground and your toes are pointing straight ahead or slightly out but not excessively. Your toes were pointed far too much to the outside.

Yes I have ridden Spanish saddles quite a lot. I often live in Spain in the winter time so ya, I am kind of familiar with the Spanish style of riding. .In fact this was shot at the Royal school in Cordoba where I ride fairly regularly. If you look closer you will see that the problem is that the stirrups on this saddle are set 2 holes too short. But as you can also clearly see it did not create any problem with signaling the horse so we didn't bother lengthening them as this was not my saddle. I am curious, do you have videos of YOU doing garrocha canter pirouettes that you could post a link of so we can see how you do it? Thank you

That’s a disingenuous request. Why should I? You are the one trying to make money off KZbin by posting video of yourself. I am an impartial observer as a fellow rider. I don’t know you. You should be able to face criticism from the public if you are posting videos of your riding. Your stirrup length seemed just fine and not obvious from the video that they were too short. You did not have your whole foot inside the spade stirrups. I’ve heard this excuse from riders who cannot admit their shortcomings. If they were short, you should have taken the time to adjust it like any experienced would. If someone took the time to critique my riding I have always list3ned to see if I can improve my riding. Whether you take the critique or not is up to you. Just don’t expect people to always tell you how great you are.

Grant Mclauchlin ha ha. You sure have a thin skin. I gave you the benefit of the doubt but no you are too pretentious and arrogant sans riding talent. Anyone looking at your leg and foot position can tell you grip with your knees to compensate for your weak core and third rate seat. Keep telling yourself you are a good rider if that makes you feel better. Last time I am wasting my time responding to the likes of you.

@@ArizonaAirspace The reason I asked for you to post a video of you riding canter pirouette with the garrocha is because I tend to only take criticism from those who have shown that they really do know what they are doing. This video was not only taken at the royal school in Cordoba Spain, it was taken while I was taking a lesson from someone who is an actual expert in riding with the garrocha. He didn't seem to have a problem with where my foot was. And we didn't change the stirrup because it was going to be a pain in the ass on that particular saddle. I don't need everyone to tell me I am great, in fact the whole purpose of this ride was to have a real expert tell me where I was messing up. I regularly take lessons/advice from some of the leading experts in the world. If you are one of those experts then I would value your opinion. Until I actually see video of you riding however you are just a nameless faceless voice on the internet and those are a dime a dozen. If you want to tell me that I am doing it all wrong and that your opinion should be taken seriously then feel free to post video that shows you have enough skill and knowledge to make your opinion valid.
