yes this is a revenge story. basically while in a toxic relationship there are diff types of ppl. some who just let the pain destroy them, some who start enjoying and just dum dum with the pain and other who take revenge. so i think thats 3 iff stories jeff tried to show here but he doesnt give fixed storylines and always says you can interpret the songs and mvs on your own. "if you feel it its enough" he says.

I recommend you to check "Dum Dum Unchained Live Version" next. It's in English lyrics with different music arrangement, more heavy. It's my most favorite version of his "Dum Dum" And if you like his cinematic MV. I recommend you to check his song "Ghost", "Yellow Leaf" (part 2 of Ghost), "Fade", "Lucid" and "Complicated". They also have beautiful storytelling.

jeff is incredible. he wrote composed produced mixed this song all by himself like he does for most of his songs. also plays all the intruments himself. his vocal range is crazy like no joke. check out the unchained live version of this song. its a lil diff vibe but its SO GOOD. all his mvs tell a story in some way, he makes storyboards for the mvs himself too. i suggest reacting to the 2 part mvs of his songs ghost and yellow leaf. they're incredible.

Basic Story: He was a normal guy. They tried to kill him. Left him for dead. Instead, he turned into/summoned THAT guy (who is at times called Sunshine Moonshine) and got revenge. Sunshine will occasionally pop up in other Jeff's songs and media. Look for the smile and craycray eyes. 😁

OK so this MV have a lore. the main characters are Sunshine(the one wearing a suit) Moonshine (The one wearing a tank top holding a gun) and Love Die (the injured one) ... in the story Love Die was attacked. Sunshine possessed him to get revenge for him and when Lovedie was possessed he became Moonshine. Jeff says that Sunshine is not an angel or a demon, he is an unidentifiable entity. I believe Sunshine still has a role to play in other MVs. and now there is a new character called The Writer.

And there's also the mystery of why they all look alike (except they're played by Jeff, of course), especially Sunshine, Love Die and the writer.

Jeff is a great artist! This song is awesome. You should watch the unchained live version. Jeff is all in one artist: he's singer, actor, composer, designer, lyricist and much more. ❤ If you like MVs with such a storyline, Jeff's your guy 😉 so, I recommend you to watch the MV song Ghost (1st part) and Yellow Leaf (2nd part) Good luck and enjoy it!
