I think this mv connected to nene's mv 'Nostalgia'. Jeff is a forest fairy. Something attacked him causing him to lose consciousness at nene's house. The forest (his home) is very close to nene's house so he often visits her. Couple love each other but he knew his time was running out. And then when he completely gone she maybe slowly forgets him. He also gives her a 'forget me not' flowers. 😢

I'm one of Jeff's biggest fans.. He started singing around the age of 16-17 listening to music on KZbin to develop his voice. His family didn't have enough money for give him singing lessons. He has played in Thaïs BL (boys lovers) series and has at least 3 successes as actors. Thereafter he opened his own studio to launch his music. Jeff writes, composes the music and arranges all of his songs himself. He knows he has many international fans and he translates his songs into english too. He was hired by a company called Be On Cloud for comedians. In Thailand, bl actors must generally have multiple talents. Singing, acting, dancing etc... He also composes songs for other series even if he does not play in them.. From this company, he played in a BL series which was a huge success and he also composed the music for this series. With this success, BOC decided to do an Asian tour which was a huge success. Subsequently, when the tour ended, he did not renew his contract with them. He was to play in another series of this company with an actor named Barcode with whom he played in the series of the tour but when he left the box, he bought the rights for the series and they were him and his partner Barcode in South Korea shoot the said series. Also, he affiliated himself with a music company to make himself known more because he has the potential to go far.. he is 28 years old, he is also a model, moreover last week he was invited by Valentino for its release of new clothing. He speaks very good English and he is half Thai and Chinese and he does very well in the language. Thai singers, actors are very close to their fans, we often see them in shopping centers, theaters and often if not always, they give access to their fans for photos, signatures etc. .. Jeff is a very discreet guy, he doesn't talk much about himself but when he's comfortable, he reveals himself a bit... The only person in show business who is able to touch him, be close to him, is his young protege Barcode. Here is a brief summary of Jeff who has not finished surprising us. I am Canadian, I spent two months in Thailand and I met him on his birthday and he is very nice. Moreover, the Thai culture enchanted me that I moved there in a short time!

BOC didn't hired him for comedian... Jeff was with BOC as an actor, he acted and even composed and sang one of the OSTs in their series KinnPorsche. He left BOC since he wanted to be more involved with his music career and had more creative freedom to do the style of musics he wanted to do. Plus the new series with Barcode is a series under a Korean company, it was never a BOC series in the first place. ( BOC only shot a teaser for them as a promotion). The Korean company wanted him and Barcode for it and were hired by them, so his leaving BOC ,had no effect on the said series. ( highly doubted that he acquired the right for it). He is currently in a Chinese TV show "Call Me by Fire season 3" but he speaks English there as he can't understand Chinese, though he sangs in Chinese for the show.

jeff said he took inspiration from peter pan and the korean movie a werewolf boy, and he was largely involved in the storyboarding for the mv himself! but there are definitely a lot of fae elements in the story and his character here i think theres also an english version of the song, and it's really beautiful - he doesn't do literal translations for his english versions, which is really interesting!

Oh you're fast! I really enjoyed your reaction here as well! You're so observant, I can't believe you noticed the flowers and the clock so quickly! You're not the first to bring up Beauty and the Beast or Alice in Wonderland, and Jeff himself has actually mentioned Peter Pan as an influence for this! He's also said there are two ways to interpret the video, and one is more sad. Personally, I interpret it in sort of a Neverending Story or Peter Pan-esque way. Like, just because it all happened inside her dream, doesn't mean it wasn't real... y'know? Alternate universes that only intersect within her dream, or something... idk. Analysis isn't my strong suit lol! But I look forwards to seeing more of your Jeff reactions :) Fade has kind of a similar vibe to Lucid, but if you need a break from ballads, Jeff has a collaboration with korean artist Shaun, called Steal the Show, which has a pretty heavy rock influence, and his song Highway is also a little more uptempo, and more similar to Dum Dum.

I think the song is about that time just when love is about to end, because reality or the real world sets in and you have to wake up and let go off the relationship. like its the end of the honeymoon phase. he is begging for the girl to dont forget their relationship, all the memories, all the love and hopes and dreams. The girl is losing her feelings for him, like their time together is just a lucid vivid dream, because reality/sun rises. The MV, is showing it in a fairy-tale dream-like way. They meet at night, and all the moments are just part of her lucid dream, and he is part of the dream-world, and can only meet her at night in her dreams. When the sun rises, she wakes up, and he has to leave. Eventually, the real-world becomes more important, so he eventually fades and just becomes part of her dreams/background. at least, that's my interpretation of it. You should check out the English version too. It kinda explains it more i think. Like check out the English versions of his songs. you dont loose that poetry just because of language barrier, because its not just a literal translation, but different words to convey his message. and i think that's just brilliant.

Jeff has explained in an interview about the concept of this mv. The mv concept is like he represents a dream that makes someone happy. He wants that person to remember him which is a good dream/ moment/ feeling even when he/she wakes up. That's why the scenes are only at night in the bed room. He represents a person's dream.

Just a small SUGGESTION : how about reacting to the English version after the official MV?? Jeff usually releases an English version for his songs, that's why everybody told you to react to Why Don't You Stay live in concert , because it's in english and has a more powerful impact on us, the Thai non-speaker

If you see my other reactions, I'm deeply moved by non-English songs even when I'm not reading or understanding the English translations. @@marcogennuso hi ! there is already an english version! it doesn't have a music video but it is released on youtube and streaming apps. he doesn't write literal translations of lyrics when doing songs in other languages, so it's always a slightly different experience!

I've followed Jeff for a number of years first discovered him singing cover versions of other artists songs. I've also followed his acting career and he sure puts his acting talents to good works in this MV's. He's has a number of OST he's written for Thai TV series productions one he wrote while on set. Some he sings himself while other's he's written for the main actors in some series to sing.

It's funny how you got Beauty And The Beast, where as I got more of a The Phantom Of The Opera-vibe - but I guess when it comes down to it, the core of stories do look alike. He wants to live in the darkness of night, to not be seen, doesn't think he's worthy of love or care, but still has a burning desire to care for someone else himself. However even after she takes care of him and tends his wouns, he still flees, because he feels unworthy, and so it's up to her to find him, to assure him. And when she finds him in his own "world", he look handsome and peaceful. --- Actually as I am writing this, I am suddenly reminded of the artist Meat Loaf and his "I'd Do Anything For You" mv-series, which had a lot of the same thematic story. I would characterize Jeff as a singer-songwriter as far as genre goes, so most of his songs are ballads or guitar folk.

This MV may be the most beautiful and mesmerizing i've seen since the beginning of the year. The video and the song itself are just so incredibly poetic, both lyrically and visually speaking. Love the carefulness that has been woven into them, would it be through the photography, the instrumental or these bittersweet lyrics, and also through Jeff's voice. i find the song and MV very sad. It's like the boy is trapped inside the dreams. He suddenly appears in the girl's dream and is afraid of this new and unexpected encounter. But at the same time, he can't resist against his curiousity and growing attraction, and returns to see her in another dream. In the girl's dreams, their love has enough space to blossom. But the clock is ticking and the boy seems to be aware that he has to flee before the end of the dream. It's like he knows he's emprisonned by time (ex : the scene in which Jeff is singing while the clock appears as a frame circling him, and him standing like an arm of the clock), and knows something terrible could happen if he's still there when the girl awakens and her dream ends. Maybe he won't ever be able to return and see her again in her future dreams if that is the case. Maybe he'll be trapped again forever into darkness and oblivion, like he was before he met her. He's lucid that he could disappear again and that he can't stay with her outside of her dreams. In the end, it seems that the girl has broken the dreamline he was trying to protect when fleeing from her room. She leaves her room and ventures into his world as the clock keeps on ticking. She founds him as he really is, trapped in the thorns of dreamland and unable to stay with her. But she still reaches to him and awakens him, which instantly puts an end to the dream. She wakes in her room, having broken the dream circle they had going on and which allowed them to meet. She seems to have forgotten about the boy. Everything has been erased in her mind, except for a fleeting and bittersweet sensation/emotion that she isn't able to grasp fully - which is represented by the flowers he brought inside her room as a souvenir, as a token of blossoming love and remembrance. Maybe it's actually a circle that they'll repeat forever, her dreaming and forgetting about him once she wakes up. Or maybe this is the last time she has this dream and they won't meet ever again.

I think he was running away from something and found her, and then he decided to delete her memory and make it like a lucid dream. . Everything changed when he touched her cheeks; the flashback came, and everything changed. Then he woke up, and I think she really found him, and he is the one who brings her home and gives her flowers.

Nene's character can see Jeff only in her dreams at night. Every night in her dreams they meet and fall in love but as dawn comes around he has to leave. Hence although Jeff remembers everything, when she wakes up she has no memory of who or what he is. All he can do is wait till the next night when he gets to see her again and they fall in love yet again
