most people got fooled by the happy and loving cinematics at the start and never did pay attention to the lyrics. The lyrics from the beginning had never been about mutual love but the pains of unrequited love.

I was under the impression that Farm Jeff is a clone of her husband and she was left there to observe him. Then the experiment was over and it was time to take him back. But she loves both of him. Those were original Military Jeff's memories of the wedding. When she took off her wedding ring because she was having feelings for the clone, he made her a new ring. The "Ghost" is Farm Jeff's memories of the wedding and such cause they weren't his memories. Could be that the 2 Jeffs and her are ghosts, since, both her and the Jeff in white had their eyes covered (with the veil and with a blindfold respectively) so they both live according to the fabricated image that they themselves or someone else made for them (it could be the Jeff in a suit) so, for me ghosts, has to do with the image that each one has of the other but that is not real and that no matter how hard they look for that image they won't find it because from the beginning it never existed, it was just a fabricated illusion. For me this MV shows manipulation and betrayal, where in the end we are looking to get out of there and leave everything behind. Yess after watching multiple times I realized all that I missed and omg! The part where you talk about the manipulation and betrayal? Yes 100% thats how i felt too. Absolutely beautiful but heartbreaking song
