Yeah. One of my sons has a pair of Black Ones with some off white shoestrings with specs of black. He got the idea when I showed him a photo of me and a few childhood homies back in the early 90’s rocking the Black with white shoelaces. But I hail from Baltimore, the city that saved the Air Force 1’s ~ that’s not speculation either. Nike has released several articles, related to how Baltimore saved the shoe and by default saved the then fledgling company….this was prior to 84-85 when the first Jordans dropped. Nike has dedicated multiple “Baltimore” versions of the Air Force Ones. Glad to see the look has been resurrected! A local sporting goods store used to have a connect with Nike and we would be able to special order colorways of the AF1. Basic colorways just the swoosh and the bottom sole. Way back in High School, I remember custom ordering a pair of white with purple swoosh and sole, to rock with my “Morris Brown” HBCU sweats when they originally dropped back in the late 80’s. Had a friend who went to Morehouse and would bring me home tons of Morris Brown apparel trimmed in purple. My name is Morris Brown BTW, so it was just a natural fit. Man there were so many dope colorways that never were released nationwide… sheesh. Even the re-issues don’t hit the same like Teagues White with the black swoosh. Back in the day they would have the Black undersole to match the swoosh. Still my all time favorites are the original high top with the mesh, White and Grey. No holes in the toe. Just solid leather. Only re released once in 40 years. They dropped in 82!

nah,and its not a knock on klay cause his prime was way to high,his scoring performances were as equal if not heavier than kobes spree,when klay thompson was hot he was the most dangerous player in the league offensivewise INCLUDING curry,all that while guarding the toughest guy on the other side,many might disagree with me but rewatch the 2019 finals without KD,if klay does not go down not only does golden state still win vs the raptors but he had a case for FMVP,thats how dominant he was on both ends,the disrespect against him nowadays is insane,even this slumping+post injury+older klay is still better than alot of guys in the NBA
