That was a good point Jeff made. Both Lamelo and lonzo are taller than Gelo but play point guard. Gelo is shorter than them at 6’5 and plays like an undersized big man I think if he added more stuff to his game instead of being an undersized big that can shoot he could’ve been in nba full time.

Bronny always could shoot and had great defense so there's something to work with. And he had a whole ass damn bear heart attack at the start of the college season so I'm taking that with a grain of salt. Do I think he could've used another year YES! Do I blame his dad for getting him to this point or wanting to play with him NO! If you are correct and Bronny doesn't develop anymore passed today then yea they did the right thing to get him in now. I don't think he stops developing at 20 tho personally. Defensively he has the tools and he can shoot and he's athletic which you can't teach. I think he just needs to get more comfortable and continue to be more aggressive. It's not enough prayer in the world. The kid just isn't good enough to play in the NBA. He barely played in the G-league and in a pro league in Mexico. There is a fine line between self-confidence and being delusional and not accepting the truth. Lonzo is an established NBA player. He knows how hard it is to make it the NBA and remain there. I don't think the NBA is completely dead for Gelo, solely based on what LaMelo and potentially Lonzo could do for the Hornets (if Zo gets traded there). If Melo can continue developing into a superstar, Zo get traded to Charlotte, stay healthy and return to his Bulls pre-injury form then its not too much to ask in signing Gelo on a two way (especially if he takes Zo's advice and builds a solid resume overseas in a decent league), we've seen that nepotism/connections are a thing in the league 🤷♀

Sometimes, you have to accept the truth and Lonzo was being honest with his brother about his chances as a pro. LiAngelo is not an NBA player and being overseas is his best shot at playing pro. Looks like LiAngelo couldn't accept it unfortunately. He should have accepted that contract to the play in the UK. Plus, he's 25, not playing that much and there isn't a market for a 6'5 PF who can't do anything else but shoot (and his shooting isn't NBA elite). It's no shame in not making it to the NBA because of how difficult it is. And he can do something else or play in another country if he loves basketball. He's not good enough for the NBA. If I see him at 26 still talking about the G-league and the NBA, I will be so disappointed in the kid.
