Haechan's lyrics has the word "들어봐요" which means "listen" and the full translation of his part was "listen to the sound of your heart" or "listen to your shouting heart" .. that's why he did the gesture.

That's my point too. - jaehyun's voice at his first part. - chenle musical genius - shotaro looks happy when he dances (this is why shotaro's fancam is satisfying to see) - haechan's elbow - jungwoo needs chance to show us his vocal and performances. - renjun's vocal - yuta's best part (beautifully) - xiaojun's center part That how this is the easiest choreography NCT have, but still giving big impact. BEAUTIFUL.

The lyrics during Haechan’s part when he touched his ear was actually in the line of “Listen to the sound…” hence the gesture but that makes sense. I wonder if the audio tech confused it 😂

jungwoo has been getting chances to showcase his vocal these days, in favorite he got his first ever high note, in beautiful sm finally got him singing in his low register (he rarely used it in nct 127's songs), and jeff if you had time you need to listen 'goodbye' by sunny, jungwoo and renjun from smtown winter album 2021, jungwoo's voice shines so bright there (the low register and falsetto) and blended so well with sunny and renjun

Chenle's singing technique it's really impressive!!! Like he has a solid way to expel just heavenly notes through his mouth and the way he could go from high to low in a spam of time and beautifully really amazes me. It's his hardwork and the fact he trained since child but also the man is d*mn gifted!!! **Yuta and Mark performances, their body lines!!! It's not just the way they do it but also how they impregnate their aura in their movements, I do love it!! That's an amazing review, as always. I just can agree with you Jeff!!!

DEAR SM, we need dance practice for Beautiful... Btw, am I the only one who feels like Dream is the one who creates cohesive-ness when it comes to the whole NCT dancing together? I mean, we can clearly see that 127 and WayV dancing style is different. 127 have so much pop and isolations, hip hop, meanwhile WayV is more fluid and elegant feels. and Dream is right in between these two. Like, when you see Dream, their dancing style is clearly different than 127 and WayV. But if you put them beside 127 or WayV, they blended really well. It's like they are the bridge for the differences in dance style between 127 and WayV. I don't know how to explain it, but that's what I see as someone who didn't dance

Maybe that’s is the advantage of dream since they used to adapt with a lot of concepts, you know chewing gum, boom, we go up, hot sauce and etc. They’ve done a lot, that’s why they can balance 127 and wayv’s dancing style.

I love how SM gives Jungwoo the chance to shine as a vocalist lately. Ever since Favorite, they’re finally letting him sing in his more ‘serious’ tone just like he used to in his NCT U Boss days. I don’t hate his post-boss/pre-favorite softer tone at all, but knowing the range and potential that he has, limiting him is a shame lol. If you’re into wintery slow r&b tracks, you should check “Goodbye”, his collab with Renjun and SNSD’s Sunny in the newest SMTOWN album! I used to heavily prefer dark-haired Mark but I’m unexpectedly really loving his blonde hair lol maybe it’s the forehead. His footwork is one of the best in NCT. Something that I heavily noticed, especially in their freestyles is that Mark’s style is footwork-heavy and Taeyong’s is more upper body-focused (I LOVE Mark’s Tints freestyle and Taeyong’s Oh Go freestyle where it’s very obvious, by the way!) I also feel like Mark has really matured and really grew into his skin as a performer lately. I mean his dancing style isn’t very uniquely stylized like, say, Taemin (nor he needs to be!) but recently he grew to possess the swag that’s sooo uniquely his. I’m really really excited to see him grow bigger and bigger as an artist!

Yeah, the way this is staged totally adds to the feeling of the finale of a musical theatre show. To my mind, Kpop has always been musical theatre but this is really leaning into that totally... live performance is irreplaceable :D Yes, they come out verse by verse in groups and then gather for the final chorus which is a wonderful way to build the song visually as well as vocally.

things like this make me miss doing musical theater SO MUCH. i love that they let jungwoo cover ten's part in the chorus, too, instead of having a main vocal or main dancer do it. and SHOTARO ALWAYS LOOKS SO HAPPY WHEN HE'S DANCING THE PRECIOUS BEAN you can really see renjun's contemporary and ballet training in choreos like this.
