If you check the lyrics of this song in english , it's actually painful. This song was in their rise up album , rise up album contains songs that they produced and wrote during their 13month hiatus ( because of their company's crisis and they we thought theyre gonna disband) and the whole album was dedicated to their fans , arohas. U rlly need to check the lyrics of this so as the other tracks from their rise up album ( stay with me , by your side , always you , call out ) they're basically asking if their fans are still there or we alrdy left , and they're thanking the fans who believed in them and supported them even if they havent done any projects for a year , this is their best album for me. It's a special album , they didn't promote The title track on music shows but they had performed this live for their several concerts

So so true! I discovered Astro right in the middle of Eunwoo’s MIIGB drama and they had just released Always You and their Rise Up mini album! When I found out about the whole company crisis and the meaning of this song and the other songs in the mini album, it honestly became my favourite album and songs. It’s the one song that has such a deeper and even darker tone compared to their other title tracks and MVs. I became an actual fan of theirs just because of this album.

Vioteen oh yeah! I forgot they never officially promoted this song...this was during that time when Fantagio was having internal issues regarding their CEOs and the Chinese company that owns them. It was a dark time and I remember people saying Astro was probably going to disband soon because it ended with them not having an official comeback for like a year. But they fully they pulled through and came back stronger with “All Night” 🥰

So. Always You. There's a lot to say about song and the album it's from, Rise Up. This is gonna be a long post, especially since OP has been working on it for a while, but this is important information to understanding the absolute impact this song had on the fandom. Crazy Sexy Cool came out in November 2017, ASTRO was reaching peak views and fans and it looked like everything was going to start going really well for them. However, in December 2017 the CEO of Fantagio (their company) was dismissed from his position by JC Group, a Chinese shareholder (their largest shareholder) and it was announced that the Chinese co-CEO Wei Jie would become the sole CEO of Fantagio. There were unfair transfers and terminations amongst staff and the staff demanded that the previous CEO be reinstated or they would go on strike. Artists within the company expressed interest in leaving and the company went through background checks that might prove they were an illegitimate company without proper certification for board members. Stocks fell fast and April 2018 cane around fast with no news about ASTRO besides if they posted anything. No one said anything and fans started to leave as they grew bored with no immediate comeback. July 8, 2018, coming up on 8 months after their last comeback, and 6 months after the last thing posted on ASTRO's official Instagram, a post wuth the caption "ASTRO AIRLINE - NEW DESTINATION 'AROHA' 2018.07.24". The people that were still active in the fandom were FREAKING THE FUCK OUT (me included lol). ASTRO were confirmed to have a comeback, and even though it would only be a "special mini album" AROHAs were just so happy to have them back, even though our fandom had shrunk a lot. Now, I wanna share the lyrics and explain to you how each line relates more to their fans than any lover/significant other/girl, like some people have assumed. Basically the lyrics are about how hurt and sad and scared ASTRO were being away from their fans, not know what was gonna happen (if the company would fall under and they'd have to disband or if there would be any fans left when they returned) It was so hard Before I could stand before you I shed tears out of fear That we won’t see each other anymore Do you remember that last day? Your warm smile Remained in my heart, it left feelings behind And kept circling my mind (Recalling the last stage where they were able to see fans looking at them so happily and how it stuck with them) With the faith of you waiting for me Though it was hard, I swallowed my tears and went to you You told me not to worry no matter what happens (They had faith that fans would stay and that heled them push forward and not give uo hope. Fans always told them not to worry so they trusted in them) Are you still there? In these times that were hard to endure Even if I fall countless times I’ll get up again and go to you Though I’m late, I came to you (Calling out and asking if any fans are still around. It hurt a lot not knowing what would happen to them and after Rise Up, they showed us how much happier they were and it really hit home. HOWEVER! Rise Up was, again, an unpromoted "Special Album". Only people who were still active in the fandom knew of/cared about the release pretty much. It was sad because it really did prove to then that fans left them and moved on to other groups. Also it sucked because that meant there was gonna a whole 13 month hiatus between Crazy Sexy Cool and All Night. And now All Night happenedin January and fans were getting scared that we were gonna have to wait another 13 months to see them again, but Moonbin promised recently that they were having a comeback before the end of the year plus we have their Twitter account and individual Instagram accounts to refer to if were worried or nervous. Everything seems to be going fine now, this was just the long story of a group on the verge of disbandment and always on the verge of another long hiatus. Their company sucks but all we can do is just continue to support and appreciate them.

I remember when Always You came out, I was so relieved I almost cried. Everyone thought they were disbanding, and I was so worried. Their careers would have probably continued fine in other companies, but it would have been unlikely they would stay together as a group Then when I watched Always You, and heard those lyrics, I actually did cry. Those lyrics were so raw and painful, for them as well as for Aroha. It’s still my all time favorite Astro song, because of how much it meant to them and to us. And also it’s just beautiful. They didn’t do many live stages of it, but I still watch those live stages fairly often

I completely agree with your opinion about Eunwoo's deep voice. When I first heard him sing w Astro using his baritone voice, I actually prefer it. It's really really really beautiful. It fits so well with him. I mean, we got MJ and Moonbin doing the high notes, sometimes Sanha too. But with Eunwoo singing in his baritone, it blended so well. And yes, Rocky's definitely singing here. :) He got the high parts in chorus too. Although Rocky is a rapper, he does vocal adlibs in other Astro songs. Haha. Thank you so much for reacting to groups like Astro and Infinite! 😊 It's really great to see underrated Kpop groups getting the love and attention they deserve. 🙂 You should react to Astro's "Hide & Seek," "Confession," and "Breathless" sometime since those are another 3 of their big songs (from when they first debuted). It would also be nice to see you react to Infinite's "The Chaser," "Back," "BTD," "Be Mine," "Bad," "Last Romeo," and "Tell Me" sometime too if you like synchronization because, as you already know, Infinite are the kings of synchronization and they were one of the role-model idol groups for Astro and one of the groups that Astro's idol concept was modeled after, I believe. I think you would really like the performance version (not the original version) of Infinite's MV for "Come Back Again" as well because the choreography and the synchronization are INSANE, and it's so fun to watch. And while the choreography for their song "Paradise" isn't shown in the original MV, Infinite's performance videos and practice video for "Paradise" are VERY GOOD. The choreography is very smooth and unique. I think you would like them a lot. 😄

Thank God Eunwoo's teacher , permitted him to audition (when the fantagio staff called, it was their exam day ). Thank God , jinjin's mother pursuited him when he was about to give up because of his so much love in street dancin. Thank God , Rocky's partner on the theater play on his school days , left and auditioned on fantagio and boycotted Rocky 😂 . Thank God , Sanha's father did not use a condom 😂 , (sanha's family is full of music. His father and 2 older brothers are also on to music). Astro’s music is very sensual and veryyy R&B to me. Even the songs which appear to be for really young kids have “boogie” type beats to them, which draws the soul to it.

If you liked very much their "With You" dance practice, you should also watch their "Moonwalk" dance practice.. For the "Always You", they don't have a dance practice but they have special performances on different music shows. Plus, there is a performance cut version of the chorus part of "Always You".

always you is a rly special song to arohas and astro. it was when their company was going through some internal issues so they couldn't have a comeback, they were afraid that their fans were going to leave them bc of their hiatus which was around 7-8 months? this song is dedicated to arohas that stayed with them despite the hindrances the past few months.

13:25 is also Rocky singing! It’s so cool watching people who only know Rocky as a rapper hear his singing voice for the first time because it’s so pretty. He has a an absolutely beautiful and *amazingly* stable singing voice. You seriously need to watch clips of Rocky singing. It’s just so pretty and I walkways get so happy whenever he gets to singing in a song. I recommend reacting to their live concert stage of “Innocent Love” Rocky has a high note in it and I guarantee you’ll be blown away, Jeff!

Jefffffff!!!! 1. YESSSS! With You is such a good song. It sounds so whimsical and just fresh and fun. And yes, ROCKY! 2. Rocky has a soundclound! He uploaded a couple of song guides (When the Wind Blows and No I Don't). Also, he did a cover of Versace on the Floor which, I believe, you could search up here in yt! His vocals is pretty amazing. What an all-arounder, right?? 3. Sadly, there's no practice or full performance video for Always You but there's a lot of performance stages and fancams. Rocky's ballet jump (?) is really pretty because he seems like he jumped over moonbin on that part. I hope you get to watch it :) 4. Thanks for always giving love and appreciation to the boys. Heff the reason they are all sweaty is because ...their dance practice you just see is not just one is two songs the first one is moonwalk and then with you, but also they show us how Rocky is putting all the steps together and show them the choreography this is a long dance practice is like 25 minutes and sorry for my bad English I hope you’re able to understand me.
