@@JeffAvenueI didn't write the song but what you do is you would insert a pitch plugin on the vocal track in music terms if you are below the pitch then you are flat and if its above the pitch you are sharp in reference to the pitch plugin they used its a bit flat measure how flat or sharp a pitch is we use cents so I would say they set the pitch plugin to be 5 or 10 cents flat. Hope that helps

this dance practice was the reason my bias became hongjoong. he just commands the eye in this practice. it was before I stanned and knew members and I remember going down to the comments and being like "who is the guy in camo pants?"

I feel like even if you’re a dancer, you can’t really relate to it unless you’re an actual performer and like you’ve performed in musicals and all. Because, even for me, that dance is hard to execute, but we tend to forget about the strong stamina that you have to have to perform this - and that’s why it’s harder than you think. And we also tend to forget about their health - they might be exhausted from schedules or something, we never know. I feel like if you’re a dancer, you can’t just say “this is easy, I can do this”, there’s a lot more to think about it and I feel like people who are actually performers who sing, dance and act can understand this a lot more. It doesn’t matter how many pirouettes you can do within a minute, it doesn’t matter if you can do several B-twists in a dance. What matters is the ENERGY required. And, whenever I see Ateez, I can’t help but admire how much energy they put in. I honestly think they are a dancing asset to kpop, as well as groups like NCT and SVT.

This is my FAVORITE ATEEZ SONG and I know the entire dance just from watching it. I've seen this song live twice, followed since debut, and as I'm writing this comment I can see the entire choreo in my head to the point where I can just listen to the commentary instead of watching it. This was the first comeback that Ateez had and it further solidified me as a fan because not only did they have an impressive debut, but they had an even more impressive comeback to follow up. The album was just *chef's kiss* and I recommend it if you want new songs to add to your playlist.

Ateez are SOSO different from lots of kpop groups, which i LOVE. Their concept and music is so different and that’s what made me stan them. BTS and Ateez will always be my top groups. Their choreographer is Anze Skrube (for almost all the tittle songs) and BBTrippin are they korean choreographers to modify some parts of the choreography of the original version or to do for the choreography of other songs. that's why Ateez have so unique choreos because they have amazing people behind of them too.

This is the first reaction video of yours that I am watching and as a former dancer myself I’m loving all the little details that you’re pointing out! Especially the point about how they create waves and images with their choreography because for whatever reason, I haven’t seen that pointed out a lot in other reactions but it’s honestly one of my favorite things about their choreo. They aren’t just dancing or going through the motions, they’re legitimately taking you on a journey from the beginning to the end of a song and it’s hard to look away from it because of how incredible (and like you said) and polished it is. Also, I love that you watched the dance practice before the MV! I don’t see that a lot in reactions and it’s refreshing tbh because you get to see and appreciate the choreo in its entirety. Also, I love how despite not knowing the technical terms for some of the musical techniques being used in the song you still catch them. Ateez’s music really does stand out from any other group because the music is so textured and has so many layers to it (whether it be rhythmically, melodically, harmonically or orchestration-wise) and as a musician, one of my favorite things to do is analyze it and geek out over it. The group behind the music is a group called Edenary that’s made up of four songwriters and producers (Eden is the main one, but Buddy, Leez and Ollounder are the other members) and I honestly think that Ateez found a winning combination with that crew as well. Can’t wait to watch more of your reactions and thank you for a great one here! And you definitely got a new sub from this!
